"The Bluebirds were backed at a high of 60.059/1 to win and a monstrous 270.0269/1 to win by a 3-2 scoreline in-play on Betfair, having gone behind to Edin Dzeko's 52nd minute opener. City had traded at a low of 1.162/13 after going ahead."

The Premier League's richest club received a rude shock in south Wales today as newly promoted Cardiff pulled off a dream come-from-behind victory on their home debut in the top-flight.

The Bluebirds were backed at a high of 60.059/1 to win and a monstrous 270.0269/1 to win by a 3-2 scoreline in-play on Betfair, having gone behind to Edin Dzeko's 52nd minute opener. City had traded at a low of 1.162/13 after going ahead.

Cardiff's hero was much-travelled striker Fraizer Campbell who netted twice from corners in the final 20 minutes following team-mate Aron Gunnarsson's leveller to power his team to the famous win.

An Alvaro Negredo goal in the 90th minute gave the home fans heart palpitations but the Cardiff defence stood firm on a memorable afternoon for the Welsh side. The late goal rush saw bets on over 4.5 goals matched at a high of 55.054/1

City are now out to 3.412/5 to win the Premier League behind Chelsea at 3.211/5 but ahead of neighbours United (3.953/1).

Tottenham Hotspur are 21.020/1 fifth favourites in the market after a 1-0 defeat of Swansea at White Hart Lane. After not being awarded a single penalty last season Spurs were handed one for the second match in succession which was despatched by summer signing Roberto Soldado as they overcame the Welsh club.

Tottenham were matched at a high of 2.226/5 to win.
