Jasmine Baba is back with a brief lowdown on Premier League transfer news after the odds were slashed for one Manchester United defender...
"Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has caught the attention of Barcelona. His odds have also nosedived from 25s to 2/1 to be Marc-Andre Ter Stergen's understudy."
To be a Wanderer
Chris Smalling looks to be leaving Old Trafford after his odds where slashed from 33s to 1/2 to join Wolverhampton. I mentioned last week that Manchester United's interest of Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld meant that at least one of their defenders would be leaving, with the favourite being Marcus Rojo, however Smalling has been out of favour for a while and looks like he'll be the first to exit.
On the note of Alderweireld and Maguire, they have both drifted to 4/5 and 5/2 respectively to join the Red Devils, as deals have still not been completed for either.
Paul Pogba has also seen some unexpected action in the market. Even though he is still 2/9 to stay in Jose Mourinho plans, money has come in for him to move to Barcelona, from 16s to 9/2 after he is reported to have met with their technical secretary Eric Abidal. One to watch!
Is Mignolet's luck changing?
Reports this morning have said Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has caught the attention of Barcelona. His odds have also nosedived from 25s to 2/1 to be Marc-Andre Ter Stergen's understudy, after Barca's second string keeper, Jasper Cillessen, could be moving elsewhere. The market still has Mignolet to move to Besiktas as favourite at 15/8.
Ramsey to be a part of a swap deal?
The rumours for Ousmane Dembele to sign for Arsenal do not seem to be dying down, but reportedly Barcelona want Aaron Ramsey for the 21-year old. Whether the Gunners will agree or disagree with the proposal, some sort of deal looks to be on the table as the midfielder is still 7/2 to join the club with Arsenal's head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat approaching the Spanish Club.
Unlike Steven N'Zonzi. The defensive midfielder was odds on favourite to move to North London, but Sevilla has stated that no offer has been received for him. Since then the odds have drifted to 5/1, with Roma overtaking the betting at 1/3.
Everton to lose out
Yerry Mina looked to be joining Everton after shortening to 8/11. However, after following Manchester United on Instagram, it's now the Mancunian club who is 8/11 favourite for his signature with The Toffees drifting to 9/4.
Blue movers or not
It's gone eerily quiet at Chelsea. The predictions were that Willian, Eden Hazard and Thibault Courtois were to leave imminently, but with no deals completed for them yet, the odds have shortened for two of them to stay at Stamford Bridge. Hazard is now 1/3 and Willian 8/11, however Christian Pulisic is still evens to come into Sarri's side. We could see those odds change for the former two if Pulisic does sign for the West London club.
