It's all change at the head of the Premier League Winner market after Chelsea produced a superb second half display at Manchester City. Mike Norman updates some of the significant betting heats after Saturday's results...
Chelsea are the new favourites to win the Premier League - available to back at 2.447/5 - after they came from a goal behind to beat Manchester City 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium in Saturday's early kick-off.
And in a match that ended in chaotic scenes, City's day got much worse when the club's top goalscorer, Sergio Aguero, and midfielder Fernandinho were both sent off meaning they'll miss the next three Premier League matches.
Gary Cahill's own goal on the stroke of half time gave Pep Guardiola's men the lead they just about deserved, but Chelsea's second half performance, thanks largely to some devastating counter-attacking play, resulted in three goals from Diego Costa, Willian, and Eden Hazard.
Antonio Conte's men were recording their eighth consecutive league win, a run of form that has seen them move four points clear at the top of the table and their title odds shorten from the high of 32.031/1 which they were matched at when they lost to Liverpool in September.
City had drifted out to 4.57/2 to win the title before Arsenal and Liveprool played their weekend games.
Spurs back on song and West Brom win again
Tottenham ended a frustrating run of form by thrashing Swansea 5-0 at White Hart Lane, a result that keeps them fifth in the table just three points behind Liverpool in second.
The Lilywhites had to wait until the 39th minute to take the lead, but once Harry Kane found the back of the net the result was never in doubt. Son Heung-min made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time before second half goals from Kane, and two from Christian Eriksen, wrapped up the resounding win.
Spurs are available to back at 26.025/1 in the Premier League Winner market and at 2.568/5 to record a Top 4 Finish.
West Brom's fine form continued with a 3-1 home win over Watford, a result that takes Tony Pulis' men up to sixth in the table.
One of the pre-season favourites to be relegated the Baggies have taken 10 of the last 12 points available to them while scoring an impressive 10 goals in the process. They can be backed at 3.412/5 to record a Top 10 Finish this season.
Palace break losing run and Black Cats beat champions
Crystal Palace ended a six-game losing streak by trouncing an out-of-sort Southampton 3-0 at Selhurst Park, while Sunderland made it three wins in four games with a home victory over Leicester.
Southampton, fresh from a victory at Arsenal in midweek, were never at the races in the capital and were soundly beaten by the Eagles thanks to goals from Christian Benteke (two) and James Tomkins. Alan Pardew's men are up to 13th in the table.
Sunderland remain in the relegation zone despite their 2-1 win over the champions. David Moyes' men have drifted in the Relegation market however and can now be backed at 1.855/6 - from a low of 1.282/7 - to go down.
