Both Aston Villa and Leicester won their last games, but Dan Fitch thinks that it will be the visitors who will taste victory again...
"If it were one of the other top four sides facing the Premier League’s bottom club, you can bet that they’d be odds on."
Aston Villa v Leicester
Live On Sky Sports 1
Villa pulled off a shock victory against Crystal Palace midweek to give themselves a slight hope of survival.
It was their first win since the opening day against Bournemouth and they remain some eight points from the safety zone. If they are to stand any chance of staying up they must find form fast, but the fixture list has not been kind with second placed Leicester looking to build upon their own midweek win.
Aston Villa's list of injuries will also give Remi Garde sleepless nights. Jordan Amavi and Traore Adama are both out, while there are doubts over the fitness of Alan Hutton and Carlos Sanchez.
It was nothing on the scale of Aston Villa's wait for a win, but Leicester's 1-0 victory over Spurs brought to an end a run of three games without a victory.
With Arsenal and Manchester City both drawing, Leicester are now level with the Gunners on points. Only goal difference is keeping them off the top spot as their amazing season continues to surprise.
Claudio Ranieri has almost a full squad to choose from, with only Matthew James and Jeffrey Schlupp struggling for fitness.
Aston Villa are at 3.65, with the draw at 3.45 and Leicester the favourites at 2.265/4.
Leicester might only just be emerging from a dodgy patch, but they are a pretty big price when you consider their position in the table and that of Villa. If it were one of the other top four sides facing the Premier League's bottom club, you can bet that they'd be odds on.
The Foxes scored late to beat Spurs on Wednesday and another wager worth considering is the 5.85/1 on offer for the draw half-time/Leicester full-time double result.
Over/Under 2.5 Goals
Under 2.5 goals is 1.774/5, with overs at 2.265/4. Earlier on in the season the goals were flowing for Leicester, but their last four league games have failed to produce three goals or more.
Their troubles in front of goal have coincided with an injury that has made Jamie Vardy less effective and a tricky run of fixtures that saw them face Liverpool, Manchester City, Bournemouth and Spurs.
Will things get easier against Villa? Probably not. Garde might not have turned round their fortunes but he's improved them defensively. Only one of their last seven Premier League games has seen over 2.5 goals.
The last time we tipped Riyad Mahrez to score he missed a penalty. It's four games since he found the net, but with 14 goals this season he still looks far too big at a likely price of 3.211/5.
Back Leicester to win at 2.265/4
Back under 2.5 goals at 1.774/5
Back Mahrez to score at 3.211/5
