Disastrous defeat at the Allianz Arena puts further doubt French manager's future at the club and it's odds-on that he is not in the dugout when Arsenal kick-off the 2017-18 campaign...
The odds of this season being Arsene Wenger's last in charge of Arsenal are now 8/11 on Betfair, following the club's disastrous 5-1 Champions League first leg loss at Bayern Munich last night.
Now in his 21st year with the club, speculation has been mounting that the Frenchman's reign could be coming to an end, with last night's thumping defeat adding fuel to the fire.
Katie Baylis, Spokesperson for Betfair, said: "With the odds now looking in favour of Wenger departing, attention is also turning to who would take over. Thomas Tuchel who has impressed at Borussia Dortmund since replacing Jurgen Klopp and Juventus manager Max Allegri are the joint 4/1 favourites, with Eddie Howe at 5/1."
While Wenger is expected to go at the end of the season, he is now into 10/1 from 20/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave.
