Opta Stats: Berbatov's Fulham goal drought to continue

Dimitar Berbatov's magic has been in short supply this season

After running his eye over Opta's gold, Lewis Jones thinks Luis Suarez will be amongst the goals again and Dimitar Berbatov won't...

"Dimitar Berbatov has scored just one goal in 855 minutes of Premier League football this season; in 2012/13, he averaged a goal every 190 minutes (15 in 2847)."
Best Bet: Lay Berbatov to score @ 9/43.3

Everton v Liverpool (Saturday, 12:45, Sky Sports 1)
Luis Suarez has scored eight goals in his six Premier League appearances this season, averaging a goal every 67 minutes
Liverpool's maverick has been in red hot form since returning from suspension for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic and remarkably he's already joint-top Premier League scorer. On big occasions, like this Merseyside derby, Suarez is always worth following to score as it's in his nature to grab a headline or two when the focus is turned up a notch. The Uruguayan has also scored in his two Premier League appearances at Goodison Park.
Recommended Bet: Back Suarez to score @ 6/42.5

Fulham v Swansea (Saturday, 15:00)
Dimitar Berbatov has scored just one goal in 855 minutes of Premier League football this season; in 2012/13, he averaged a goal every 190 minutes (15 in 2847)
Berbatov has always only worked in a 10-metre radius of a football pitch but he seems to have neglected including the penalty box in his 'go-to areas' this season. In fairness to the meandering striker, playing the leading role in this lacklustre Fulham side is hardly helping matters. Excluding their 4-1 romp at Crystal Palace, the west Londoners have scored just three goals in their last six Premier League games. The markets are still keeping faith with Berbatov to find form, but we're not. Lay.
Best Bet: Lay Berbatov to score @ 9/43.3

Newcastle v Norwich (Saturday, 15:00)
Loic Remy has already netted more goals for Newcastle (7) than he did for QPR (6) in the Premier League, despite playing five games fewer (QPR - 14, Newcastle - 9)
The increase in strike rate for a forward with Remy's talents probably isn't a surprise considering he's now receiving service from the likes of Yohan Cabaye rather than Shaun Wright-Phillips, but still, to notch as many goals as he has done means Remy is a striker to take very seriously. Norwich have conceded more goals away from home than any other Premier League side this term and Remy should be backed with supreme confidence to find the net.
Recommended Bet: Back Remy to score @ 6/52.2

West Ham v Chelsea (Saturday, 17:30, Sky Sports 1)
Against no side has Fernando Torres netted more Premier League goals than he has versus West Ham (six goals in seven games)
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho would be wise to unleash his revitalised forward to feast on goals against West Ham. Despite going off the boil slightly following his brilliant showings against Schalke and Manchester City, not helped by suspension or injury, Torres should get chances against the Hammers backline. They don't like facing top-quality strikers, having allowed Romelu Lukaku and Sergio Aguero to score at the Boleyn Ground this season.
Recommended Bet: Back Torres to score @ 8/52.6
