Opta Stats: Back West Ham for derby day delight

Sam Allardyce can't afford another home flop against Fulham

A look through the Opta stats has left Lewis Jones confident that West Ham will beat Fulham. That's one of his four weekend Premier League tips...

"West Ham are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games against Fulham at Upton Park (W4 D4)."
Best Bet: Back West Ham to win @ 20/211.97

Norwich v Crystal Palace (Saturday, 15:00)
The last time that Crystal Palace won back-to-back Premier League away games was in November 1997; the second game in that run was at Tottenham, and Chris Hughton was Spurs' caretaker manager
The Tony Pulis revolution begins for Crystal Palace in Norfolk and, of all the places the new boss would have wanted to start his Palace career, Carrow Road would have probably been near the top of that list. Norwich, usually so strong at home, have stuttered their way to just eight points and seven goals in seven home league games and they certainly look relegation candidates in this kind of form. The south Londoners, who beat Hull last weekend to register their first Premier League away win in 19 games, are unbeaten in the last five league meetings with Norwich and rate as a decent wager to steal maximum points.
Recommended Bet: Back Crystal Palace to win @ 7/24.5

West Ham v Fulham (Saturday, 15:00)
West Ham are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games against Fulham at Upton Park (W4 D4)
You wouldn't want to be the losing manager in this clash. Martin Jol is surely only one more loss away from the boot, while the east London locals won't waste any time in telling Sam Allardyce what they think of his tactics if the Hammers fail to win for the sixth league game in a row. This has all the hallmarks of a feisty derby at the Boleyn Ground due to the importance of a result for either side, and with that in mind, all the money should be plunging on a home win. Fulham lack the fight in these types of games and have only won six out of 56 away Premier League London derbies.
Best Bet: Back West Ham to win @ 20/211.97

Hull v Liverpool (Sunday, 14:05, Sky Sports 1)
Hull and Liverpool have met 16 times in all competitions and the Tigers have never won (W0 D4 L12)
Strap yourselves in Hull fans, this one could get messy. After a boisterous start to life back in the Premier League, the Tigers are now falling towards the trap door, losing four of their last five league games. Luis Suarez has scored 10 goals in his last eight league matches for the Reds and Daniel Sturridge 15 in his last 17. Both players should have ample opportunities to dine out and Liverpool should be backed to defy their Asian Handicap line of -1.
Recommended Bet: Back Liverpool on the Asian Handicap (-1) @ 6/52.2

Manchester City v Swansea (Sunday, 16:10)
All six of the goals in games between Man City and Swansea in the Premier League have been netted in the second half
Punters looking to make some easy cash on another City romp will end up disappointed as Swansea have the capabilities to frustrate Manuel Pellegrini's men early on. Having only conceded one first-half goal in 11 away games across all competitions this season, the Swans can keep the sheets clean for the first 45 minutes at least.
Recommended Bet: Back a 0-0 half-time correct score @ 14/53.8
