Nothing like plenty of goals to help the Total Goals Guys

The "Total Goals Guys" have had a miserable run of late and the only thing that can bail them out is plenty of goals
In the position we're in (£86.77 down on our £100 starting balance) we need goals and a right good few of them at that. FA Cup action rules out the big four in The Barclays Premier League this weekend and we won't be touching the unreliable Barcelona who face a dodgy looking trip to Real Zaragoza.
16th placed Real Betis are 1 point off the Primera Division's drop zone and the last thing they need is a visit from the likes of free flowing Real Madrid. That is exactly what they've got this Saturday however and 3 goals or more is our fancy. You can back at [2.02] and on of last week's evidence the visitors could take care of this on their own after putting 7 past Valladolid. 32 goals in 11 home fixtures equate to 2.9 goals per game for Real Betis home matches this term and when the leagues top scorers are in the away dressing room that sort of form looks set to continue. Real score just shy of 2 goals per away tie this season and after the Almeria misfire two weeks ago we expect a few here from the league leaders who have goals all over their side.
High risk, low stakes, 6 goal or more backers have been in the money as a result of Celtic's last two outings but for this weekends' home tie with Heart of Midlothian we're going for a more modest 3 goals or more at [1.7]. Celtic Park averages 2.8 goals per game, a record they are almost solely responsible for, having conceeded just two goals in 11 home matches this term. Everyone in Scotland expects more from Saturday's visitors, who lie 9th in SPL at present but are slowly begining to show signs of improvement. They definitely have quality in their squad and they will be looking to build on recent results with a repeat performance of their last visit where a 2-0 win dumped Celtic out the CIS cup. It's a bad time to visit Celtic however, who if nothing else are on fire in front of goal at the minute. Interestingly 4 or more is up for grabs at [2.77] but we are happy to settle for just three.
Kilmarnock must be thankful that Gretna are in the SPL this season. If the newcomers weren't so poor Killie would surely be in a relegation dog-fight and must be dreading this weekend's visit of league leaders Rangers. With Celtic putting 5 past the Ayrshire side two weeks ago in the Scottish Cup, the Ibrox faithful will be looking for their side to inflict similar damage at Rugby Park on Sunday. Jim Jeffries will have other ideas however and his sides rarely lose so heavily to either of the Old Firm - he likes his sides to defend as a team, packing 10 men behind the ball when losing possession. 4 of the hosts' last 5 outings have finished "unders" and scoring has been a problem since Nish was sold to Hibernian in January. Rangers are making a habit of winning ugly and most games have been short of many goals recently so for this one we'd like to lay 4 goals or more at [2.95] with an exposure of no more than 20% of our balance. Essentially we are backing "no more than 3 goals" at 1/2.
Its been a while since we've got involved in any of Bayern Munich's encounters but we are on 2 goals or more for their visit to Hannover 96 this Sunday. Although we don't tend to consider non-domestic action for our analysis you cant help but notice that Thursday nights' UEFA Cup 2-2 draw in Aberdeen was an excellent summary of their season - unconvincing at the back, losing goals but not losing football matches. They visit a ground with a 2007/08 season goals per game average of almost 3.9, the hosts are equally responsible for this and will be looking to capitalise on the fact their visitors have been on their travels this week. With Klose and Toni in attack Bayern always have a goal or two in them and [1.26] is decent value for a back of 2 goals or more in the total goals market.
