Serie A Tips: Back Milan to beat Fiorentina at 11/4

Will Stefano Pioli's AC Milan side enjoy a sixth successive win when they travel to Fiorentina?

Dan Fitch has tips for the pick of the Serie A fixtures over this Easter weekend and he is backing in-form AC Milan to claim an entertaining win against Fiorentina...

  • Napoli becoming draw specialists

  • Lazio will frustrate Juve

  • Milan have the momentum

  • Inter can get back on winning trail

Napoli v Atalanta (Saturday, 11:30)

There are some great Serie A matches taking place on Saturday, starting with this clash between Napoli and Atalanta.

The hosts are currently seventh in the table, with Atalanta two points ahead of them in sixth and with a game in hand. Napoli are unbeaten in Serie A since Francesco Calzona took charge in February, but are perhaps still dropping too many points to qualify for the Champions League (P5 W2 D3). They can however, be pleased with their 1-1 draw away at Inter, before the international break.

In Atalanta's last game, they beat Sporting Lisbon 2-1, to end a poor run of form. They have not won in Serie A in four games (D2 L2), though in their defence, they have played the top four in those matches. It could be worth taking a chance on the draw at 5/23.50.

Lazio v Juventus (Saturday, 17:00)

Lazio and Juventus are also looking for points, in order to fulfil their own European ambitions.

In Lazio's last outing they won 3-2 at Frosinone, to end a run of four straight losses across all competitions. This will be Igor Tudor's first game in charge of the club, following Maurizio Sarri's recent exit. Currently ninth, success in the Coppa Italia could be the most realistic route into Europe, unless Tudor can turn things round.

Lazio will meet Juve in the semi-final first-leg, later this week. The league form of the Old Lady is far from inspiring, having only won one of their last eight Serie A games (D4 L3). Combine Lazio double chance with both teams to score at 13/82.63.

Fiorentina v AC Milan (Saturday, 19:45)

Saturday's Serie A games conclude with Fiorentina playing host to AC Milan.

Milan have won their last five games across all competitions, sending them up to second in the table and through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League. The goals have been really flowing for Stefano Pioli's team, with Christian Pulisic in particularly fine form, having scored in each of Milan's last four games.

Fiorentina are also battling on different fronts. Eighth in Serie A, the Viola are in the semis of the Coppa Italia and quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League. Though Fiorentina are unbeaten in six (W2 D4), it feels like Milan have the greater momentum. Back the away win and over 2.5 goals at 11/43.75.

Inter v Empoli (Monday, 18:45)

On Monday night, Inter will be looking to take a step closer to the Serie A title when they take on Empoli.

Inter are in the curious position of being 14-points clear at the top of Serie A and yet their season could still end in something of an anti-climax. What looked like a three-way title fight has turned into a one-horse race, while Inter blew a two-goal lead in the Champions League and were ultimately knocked out by Atletico Madrid. Now they need to regain their focus and secure the Scudetto in style.

That could be tough against an Empoli side that are 17th in the table and fighting against relegation. They have lost each of their last three games, but all by a narrow 1-0 scoreline, even against the likes of AC Milan and Bologna. An Inter win and under 3.5 goals is 1/12.00.
