Roma v Juventus, Tuesday 19:45, Sky Sports 3, Match Odds: Roma 2.588/5, Juventus 2.982/1, The Draw 3.55

Roma's response to their 2014-opening defeat at Juventus has been impressive both on the pitch - scoring eight goals without reply in three successive wins - and off it - recruiting in-demand Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan and Michel Bastos. That success hasn't halted Juventus' serene progress though, with this Roma's one big opportunity to inflict doubt upon the confident Serie A leaders as well as reach a semi-final. This trophy eluded Antonio Conte in his first two years back in Turin, both bids being thwarted by southern giants - Napoli in the 2011/12 final and Lazio in the 2012/13 semis. Roma are unbeaten in their 12 home games this season, winning 10 and conceding just two goals.

AC Milan v Udinese, Wednesday 20:00, Sky Sports 3, Match Odds: AC Milan 1.491/2, Udinese 9.08/1, The Draw 4.47/2

AC Milan and Udinese had grown accustomed to squabbling over Champions League places before trading that for bottom-half territory this term. The Rossoneri can hope that they are over the worst having hired Clarence Seedorf and achieved only a third league win in 12 against Verona. Udinese's crisis is at its peak though after conceding three goals in 28 minutes at home to a Lazio side reduced to 10 men that hadn't won away until Sunday. Even their formidable recent record visiting AC Milan has been a victim of the malaise, as shown by a 1-0 San Siro reverse in October. Francesco Guidolin's men eliminated Inter in the last round, but have lost five of their last eight road trips to nil. AC Milan have kept three home clean sheets in five, and seven in total despite all their struggles in 2013/14.

Fiorentina v Siena, Thursday 20:00, Sky Sports 3, Match Odds: Fiorentina 1.261/4, Siena 14.5, The Draw 6.25/1

Siena were surprise semi-finalists two years ago, but a final four return would be a bigger shock still given that they now loiter in Serie B's bottom half. This Tuscan derby came about as a consequence of travelling triumphs at top-tier trio Livorno, Bologna (after extra time) and Catania, so Fiorentina can't underestimate their regional rivals. However, Vincenzo Montella's team are in sparkling form, the long-term absences of top scorer Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez seemingly prompting greater defensive care, the outcome being six straight clean sheets. At the other end, Alessandro Matri fired two and assisted another on his debut to cover Rossi's absence, and is confirmed as fit to face Siena.
