Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munich: Back 9/2 Bet Builder between Bundesliga top two

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane
Harry Kane is fancied to have a big say in the Bundesliga's top game this weekend

The top two in the German Bundesliga go head-to-head on Saturday in what is expected to be a fascinating clash. Bad Man Betting have put together their 9/25.50 Bet Builder for the game...

Leverkusen v Bayern has to be the match that decides the Bundesliga title. It's first v second, an emerging force up against the established kings of German football, and no game tops it this weekend.

For Leverkusen, this is perhaps a bit of a free hit. Nobody expected this from them prior to the campaign, but the fact that they remain unbeaten in all competitions is quite frankly incredible.

As for Bayern, lose, and Thomas Tuchel may well be fearing for his job. The Bundesliga title is a minimum requirement these days for the German giants, but this certainly won't be an easy game.

Betfair are offering a free bet this weekend, and a Bet Builder on this game could be a great way to make use of it.

Leg 1: Kane to Score or Assist

It's difficult to not back Harry Kane at the moment, regardless of the opponent. And, at odds of 4/51.80, I think he's generously priced given his quite ridiculous numbers.

He's been the main man for Bayern this season, although that's hardly surprising if we're honest.

Twenty-four goals, five assists, and he's been incredibly consistent over his 20 games thus far as well.

He's managed a goal involvement in 16 of those appearances, including a goal in Bayern's 2-2 draw with Leverkusen back in September. I'm backing him to do the same here.

With the likes of Sane and Muller combining for 18 assists this season, Kane is backed up by an a whole host of quality operators that will provide him with chances.

And as for Leverkusen's defence, yes it's good, but it's not impenetrable. Xabi Alonso's side are yet to keep a clean sheet in their six games against the current top five in all competitions.

Bayern will have chances, and I expect Kane to make the most of them.

Leg2: Sane 1+ Shot on Target

If Kane has been the main man, then Leroy Sane has certainly been the key supporting act for Bayern this season.

He's netted 11 times, with seven assists to boot, and is showing the levels that we all thought he'd hit during his time at Man City.

Now at 28, Sane looks a much more assured and mature talent. He's averaging 1.49 shots on target per 90, and his pace and varied skill set allows him to find these dangerous positions on regular occasions.

The wide man has had at least one shot on target in 15 of his 20 Bundesliga appearances this season, including a singular effort on target when these two faced off earlier in the campaign.

Leverkusen's shape should afford plenty of space for Sane as well, and he has the quality to exploit that.

Leg 3: Leverkusen 4+ Corners

Make no mistake, Leverkusen will absolutely find some joy throughout the 90 minutes, and I really do think they have every chance of taking all three points.

But, an area for me in which they consistently seem to excel in is corners. They're averaging 6.85 per 90, and this selection has landed in 16 of their 20 Bundesliga ties.

And yes, that includes their 2-2 draw against Saturday's opponents at the Allianz. Bayern don't ship many corners, but Leverkusen have proven that they're more than capable of bucking that trend.

In fact, this is a selection that's landed in nine of their last 10, and in every single Leverkusen home game this season.

Their wingbacks play a huge factor in this, with Grimaldo and Frimpong often being used incredibly high up the pitch.

The pair have 27 goal contributions between them, evidence of just how advanced they often are. That sort of shape should help in pinning Bayern back, and their runs forward will force corners.

Leg 4: Tah 1+ Fouls

A price of 4/51.80 for just a single Jonathan Tah foul represents huge value, and I simply can't ignore that for a bet builder.

It's not as if Tah isn't a regular offender. The Leverkusen centre back is averaging 1.09 fouls per 90, and he's committed a foul in each of his last eight starts in all competitions.

He's physical, he's aggressive, but that more than likely plays into the hands of Kane here.

The Bayern man is crafty, intelligent, and will relish any sort of battle that Tah looks to engage in.

He's drawing 1.48 fouls per 90, with only Musiala and Coman drawing fouls at a better rate in the Bayern squad, and has drawn at least one in eight of his last nine games in all competitions.

Not to mention, this is a huge game of football. Leverkusen on the whole will do whatever it takes for the points, and Tah is no exception to that.
