After making an 18% ROI during the first-half of the season James Eastham picks out the smart bets as France's top flight resumes action after the short winter break...
"PSG have won six times on the road this season, with four of those victories coming by two or more goals."
Dijon v Metz (10th v 20th)

This promises to be an entertaining encounter between Olivier Dall'Oglio's attack-minded hosts and Frederic Hantz's rejuvenated visitors.
Dijon's only objective this season is avoiding relegation but they're determined to play their way out of trouble with attacking football rather than adopting a defensive mindset. The result of their bravery is a strong home record (W6-D1-L3), but more importantly for us this weekend, a high number of high-scoring games.
Dijon's home matches have averaged 3.1 goals a game, while their 19 games in general have averaged 3.21 goals a game. Fifteen of their 19 matches have featured Over 2.5 Goals.
Visitors Metz are unlikely to simply sit back and defend. Rooted to the foot of the table, they need wins to stand any chance of avoiding the drop. They're also on a revival: Metz have won their last three matches in all competitions, including an impressive 3-0 win over Strasbourg in their last Ligue 1 fixture before the winter break.
In a match between hosts that are naturally tuned to attack and upbeat visitors that will have a go, the price on Overs is appealing.

Lyon v Angers (3rd v 19th)

Lyon go into this game in tremendous form and will be confident they can win comfortably against Angers.
The hosts went on a remarkable run towards the end of 2017, winning nine of their last 11 Ligue 1 games (W9-D1-L1) of the year. Sloppiness at the back meant they didn't always win as convincingly as they should have done, but five of their nine victories were by two or more goals, and Lyon are easily strong enough to run out clear winners over Angers.
The visitors are second-bottom in the Ligue 1 standings and have made an appalling start to 2018: they lost 2-0 at home to Ligue 2 Lorient in the French Cup last weekend, and then 1-0 at home to Montpellier in the League Cup on Wednesday night. All over the pitch Angers are much weaker than Lyon, so it's hard to see the away team putting up much resistance.

Nantes v PSG (5th v 1st)
Sun, 20:00 GMT
Live on BT Sport 3 and Betfair Live Video
PSG have made a fabulous start to 2018 and anything other than a comfortable win for the Ligue 1 leaders would be a big surprise at Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday night.
In their first outing of the New Year PSG ran out 6-1 winners at Rennes in the French Cup last weekend. The capital outfit played some sensational football to lead 4-0 at the break, while Kylian Mbappe and Neymar ended the evening with a couple of goals each to show they were sharp and focused after the winter recess.
PSG followed up with a 2-0 win at Amiens in the League Cup on Wednesday night and will expect to win by at least a couple of goals here, too. Edinson Cavani returns after being left out of those first two matches of the year as punishment for returning late from his Christmas holiday, and will have a point to prove, while Mbappe, Neymar and Angel Di Maria can provide a wealth of ammunition alongside him.
PSG have won six times on the road in Ligue 1 this season, with four of those victories coming by two or more goals. Fifth-placed Nantes have exceeded expectations to date but are far more limited than the high-class visitors.
