It's been a tricky start to the week for our Kev, but he thinks he might have found a comeback winner in Norway.
"Tromso have been scoring freely at home for months, while Stromsgodset just put four goals past Valerenga."
Tromso v Stromsgodset
Wednesday April 11, 17:30
Having not scored in any of their last five home matches, Chester found three goals including a last-minute winner last night to beat our pick Bromley. Today we feel more like Barcelona than Roma.
We're heading to Norway tonight, because there's an early-season clash in the Eliteserien between Tromso and Stromsgodset, and goals should be on the agenda.
Tromso lost their first two games of the season 4-1 at Start and 2-1 at Molde, but came roaring back with a 4-0 thrashing of Ranheim. Tromso finished last season a lowly 11th in the standings, but their home form was decent, especially at the end of last term. If you stretch back a bit, you see that TIL have won six of the last eight games in the league at the Alfheim Stadion. In seven of those eight outings, they have scored at least twice.
Stromsgodset narrowly missed out on European qualification last term as they finished fourth, and they have made an unbeaten start to this campaign. They drew at home to Stabaek and Brann, and won 4-1 at Valerenga in their first away game. Stretching back into last season, seven of their last eight league matches have seen an Over 2.5 Goals bet land.
Given the way these teams have started this season and the manner in which they ended last term, it feels like there will be plenty of goals here. I would normally baulk at a price of [1.73], but in this case I'll make an exception.
