It's late night action from Mexico for Paul Robinson today as he thinks that Tigres need to be opposed at odds-on for the visit of Toluca.

This is the first leg of the second semi-final for the Liga MX Apertura and Tigres UANL are the favourites to take the advantage ahead of next week's return match.

That's understandable given home advantage and the fact that on their day, they are quite a formidable team. Ricardo Ferretti's side finished as runners-up to River Plate in this year's Copa Libertadores and they knocked out some big clubs along the way, including Internacional in the semis.

They only finished in fifth place in the Apertura table though as they won just eight of 17 fixtures. It was business as usual in the quarters as they won home and away against Chiapas, but this will be a tougher test.

Toluca were second in the table with 32 points from a possible 51 and they were beaten in less than a third of their games. It's also worth noting that three of those defeats came at home and, on the road, their record was played eight, won five, drew one and lost two. They then went on to earn a further draw in the away leg of their quarter-final tie.

The visitors haven't lost to Tigres in any of their last four meetings and they even won their most recent visit to this ground. I can't have the hosts at such a short price, so at around the 1.758/11 mark, I have to make them my lay of the day.
