Bet 1: Corinthians (HOME) @ 1.9 (10/11) - Live on BT Sport 2
If there's one team in Brazil that you can rely on to do the business in front of their own fans then it's Corinthians.
The reigning champions have recovered from the loss of some of their key players to China and France and they could finish the weekend back on top of the Campeonato.
Cristóvão Borges' side have now won their last six in a row at home and that includes a 1-0 win over title rivals, Santos, and a 4-0 thrashing of the improving, Flamengo.
We have to go back all the way to May 2015 for their last defeat at Arena Corinthians and since then it's been 21 victories and three draws.
This evening they welcome quite a big name in the shape of Sao Paulo but 'Tricolor' have not only been out of form this season, they also played in Colombia in the week in a Copa Libertadores semi-final - which they lost.
In domestic action it's a pair of away defeats to nil from their two most recent road trips and they were also beaten at the lowly, Figueirense back in June.
Bet 2: Gremio (AWAY) @ 2.6 (8/5)
One of the challengers for Corinthians' title will be Gremio and after a couple of disappointing defeats back in June, they have got back on track with three consecutive wins.
A marvellous 3-2 victory at home to Santos was followed by an equally as impressive away success at Internacional and while they needed an injury time winner to beat Figueirense last Sunday, it keeps their momentum going.
Roger Machado's men travel to Recife this evening to take on a Sport team who have lost three on the bounce. They had briefly rallied after a dismal start to the campaign, but they are bang in trouble now and could well be in for a long season.
Oswaldo de Oliveira is the new man in charge at Ilha do Retiro but he could do nothing to stop Palmeiras beating them 3-1 in their most recent home fixture and while the visitors aren't prolific away winners, they are always competitive and have a much better side.
Bet 3: Internacional v Palmeiras (Over 2.5 goals) @ 2.1 (11/10)
Our search for goals takes us to Porto Alegre as Palmeiras are in town to take on Internacional.
The visitors are riding high at the top of the table and they have got there largely thanks to their ability to put the ball in the net with regularity.
Palmeiras have scored 30 times in 14 matches so far this term and that is three more than any other team and six more than their closest challengers. Their games are averaging 3.14 goals each time and nine of their 14 have gone over 2.5 - five of which have come from their six away fixtures.
The stats aren't as good for the hosts as Internacional have fallen to three 1-0 defeats in a row but prior to that they lost 2-3 on this ground to Botafogo and two of their last four here have ended with at least three goals scored.
The league leaders will be aiming to take apart the woefully out of sorts hosts and I can definitely see Gabriel Jesus adding to his tally of 10 goals in 13 matches - six of which have come in his four most recent starts.
Bet 4: Atletico PR v Vitoria BA (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.75 (3/4)
Our final selection sees Vitoria BA travel to Atletico PR and with Paranaense keeping it so tight at home, I can't see anything other than a low-scoring affair.
Paulo Autuori's men enjoyed a wonderful 3-0 win at Cruzeiro in the week and they will be confident of recording their sixth straight home win this evening.
The last four of those five were all victories to nil as they won 1-0, 1-0, 2-0 and 1-0 - and that included visits by Santos and Gremio.
Vitoria BA have seen the ball hit the net on at least three occasions in their last two away games but prior to that it was four from four to reward under 2.5 backers on their travels.
Given the quality of the Atletico defence, it seems likely that Vágner Mancini will send his players out to defend as if they concede, he will know that it's highly unlikely that they will be able to score twice and win the game - with a draw also becoming pretty unlikely.
