Andrew Hughes thinks Newcastle will have to settle for a point against Wolves on Sunday in another weekend multiple.

“Given that Rafa Benitez will not want to risk losing any ground on a potential relegation battle rival, we can’t expect him to vary his typically cautious approach, and the draw looks like the value bet here.”

Bet 1: Back Newcastle to draw with Wolves at [3.1]

Newcastle's mini-revival came to a halt with a 3-0 defeat against West Ham last time, but I'm backing them to steady the ship with a point on Sunday.

As Dave Tindall points out in his comprehensive Match Preview, Wolves have played well against the better teams in the Premier League, but their stodgy possession-based games has proven to be less effective against lower-ranked opponents, and they remain among the division's least prolific goalscorers, particularly on the road.

Given that Rafa Benitez will not want to risk losing any ground on a potential relegation battle rival, we can't expect him to vary his typically cautious approach, and the draw looks like the value bet here.

Bet 2: Bet Houston to beat Indianapolis at [1.47]

Back in Week 4 of the NFL season, Indianapolis Colts were tied at 34-34 with the Houston Texans, who had lost all three games up to that point, but the Texans scrambled a 37-34 win in the final seconds and haven't looked back.

Sunday's rematch should be fascinating. As Matthew Crist explains in his NFL Preview, the Colts are prolific points-scorers and are not to be underestimated in a game that, realistically, they need to win to keep their play-off hopes alive.

But since that Week 4 win, the Texans have looked unstoppable. Nine straight wins is a franchise record and with home advantage in the AFC play-off games at stake, they still have plenty to play for. Back them to add a tenth win this weekend.

Bet 3: Back Denver Nuggets to beat Atlanta Hawks at [1.4]

Last season the Nuggets missed out on the NBA play-offs, but this time round Denver have taken advantage of a wide open Western Conference to secure an early lead over their rivals, although Golden State are fast making up ground.

The Nuggets slipped up against Orlando on Friday, but have been given an immediate opportunity to bounce back against the Hawks.

Atlanta have lost their last four and are currently propping up the Eastern Conference, and with no particular incentive to improve their position, have fielded a youthful line-up that occasionally shows flashes of potential, but usually falls short. Back Denver to end their five-game road trip with a win.
