Saturday Sports Multiple: A Portland draw the headline in a 10/1 weekend wager
Andrew Hughes thinks LA Galaxy will get a draw out of their trip to Portland on Saturday in another weekend multiple.
“Prior to the Dallas match, Galaxy had looked solid in a pair of 1-0 wins.”
There's plenty of international friendly action this weekend but if it's competitive football you're after, the MLS offers abundant betting opportunities, and you can keep up to date with the latest betting previewshere.
The pick of Saturday's action is the clash between Portland Timbers and LA Galaxy. Portland are the form team of the MLS right now, with six consecutive victories, and they've won all four at Providence Park. They will be confident of beating a Galaxy side that looked woeful in defence in a 3-2 midweek defeat against Dallas.
But LA boss Sigi Schmid made a number of changes for that game, with this fixture in mind. Prior to the Dallas match, Galaxy had looked solid in a pair of 1-0 wins. Expect them to return to that form on Saturday and earn a point.

This quarter-final Challenge Cup match-up could be a classic as two old rivals battle for a spot in the last four. Wigan have the upper hand in this fixture. They ran out convincing 38-10 winners two weeks ago at Magic Weekend and at the same stage of this competition last year edged out Warrington 27-26.
But Wolves go into this match in better form than their opponents, beating Hull FC last weekend, while Wigan slipped up against Hull KR. This is sure to be another close one, but with home advantage, I'm backing Warrington to edge it.
Reds badly need a win this weekend to keep their Super Rugby play-off hopes alive, but they are likely to struggle against the Australian Conference leaders.
Waratahs are being challenged strongly by the Rebels, so there is no incentive for them to let their foot off the gas here in a fixture they have dominated in recent times. They've won their last eight games against the Reds, with an average margin of 19 points, and they've also tasted victory in their last eight away games against Australian opposition. Waratahs look stronger in every department than the inconsistent Reds, particularly in defence, and they look a solid bet here.
