There are some tight looking games in the Premier League this afternoon and Paul Robinson has picked out a couple of draws and an away win. Here are his selections:

- Back The Draw in Newcastle v Cardiff @ 23/10
- Back West Ham @ 2/1
- Back The Draw in Watford v Burnley @ 16/5

Cardiff to extend their unbeaten away run

Bet 1: Back The Draw in Newcastle v Cardiff @ 23/10 - KO 15:00 GMT

The hosts haven't had the ideal preparation for this game as they were involved in an FA Cup replay on Tuesday night and they needed extra time to get past, Blackburn.

Cardiff meanwhile had their feet up and they will be aiming to build on their 0-0 draw at home to Huddersfield last Saturday. Neil Warnock wouldn't have been too enamoured with that result, but it at least kept them out of the relegation zone - just don't mention the Eurozone.

The Bluebirds have mainly picked up their points at home this year, but it is worth noting that they won at Leicester on their latest away outing in the league, and prior to that they drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace.

Rafa Benitez's side have won just one of their last nine in the league, and at St James' Park it's just one point from a possible 12. That point came against fellow strugglers, Fulham, and I have a feeling that we could be in for more of the same this afternoon.

Dan Fitch is also going for the draw in this one.

Irons to take the three points at the Vitality

Bet 2: Back West Ham @ 2/1 - KO 15:00 GMT

The Hammers bounced back to form a fortnight ago by negotiating their way through a tricky FA Cup tie against Birmingham, and they followed that up with a 1-0 win over Arsenal last Saturday lunchtime.

Today they travel south to Bournemouth, with the Cherries in desperate need of a revival. Eddie Howe's players haven't performed for a while now, and it would appear that Callum Wilson is 50/50 at best for this game.

The hosts have won just two of their last 14 in all competitions, with the most alarming thing being that 11 of them were defeats. They are conceding far too many goals and could be vulnerable today against Felipe Anderson and co.
