Don't write off the Villa just yet
Bet 1: Back Aston Villa @ 15/4
Brighton haven't been a huge part of the conversation when it comes to relegation this season, as the perception is that they are an improved team under Graham Potter.
That may well be true when it comes to style of play, but in terms of results, they are only three points clear of the bottom three.
A victory for the 18th placed, Aston Villa, this afternoon would see them draw level on points with the Seagulls, and I am expecting a big reaction from Dean Smith's side.
They were embarrassed by Manchester City last weekend, but prior to that they put in a very good performance to draw at Leicester in the Carabao Cup, and in their last Premier League away game, they beat Burnley 2-1 - and that came on the back of a poor 3-0 defeat at Watford.
Cherries to turn things sour at Carrow Road
Bet 2: Back Bournemouth @ 12/5
Another team who I am expecting a bit of a performance from today is Bournemouth. They were dire in their 3-0 home loss to Watford on Sunday, and they travel to Carrow Road in 19th place.
Norwich are bottom - six points worse off than the Cherries - so this is an absolute must-win for them. I do admire Daniel Farke's men, and they have produced a couple of memorable performances this season, but the fact is, they are the worst team in the division.
Eddie Howe's side have had bad runs before and always managed to string together a few wins, and I am hopeful of this being the start of that against Norwich.
Moyes to get one over on his old club
Bet 3: Back West Ham @ 2/1
The Hammers were dreadfully unlucky to lose at Sheffield United last weekend, as they had a late goal controversially disallowed by VAR.
David Moyes' men were far from great in that game, don't get me wrong, but he had played two and won two prior to that, and they are a much better side than they were under Manuel Pellegrini.
Everton also have a new manager, but Carlo Ancelotti's team were humiliated by a very youthful Liverpool team in the cup, and while they beat Brighton 1-0 last Saturday, that was at Goodison, and goalscorer, Richarlison, is out injured this afternoon.
