Bet 1: Valencia (HOME) @ 1.75 (3/4)
This is arguably one of the biggest games in Europe this weekend as Gary Neville's Valencia simply have to win against Espanyol at the Mestalla.
The hosts stopped the bleeding in midweek by drawing against a second string Barcelona in a meaningless Copa del Rey fixture after losing the first leg 7-0. Following that hammering at the Nou Camp, the pressure was on Neville to deliver a result at Real Betis last Sunday but they lost 1-0 and there will be no hiding place tonight.
I actually think Valencia will win relatively comfortably as they welcome an Espanyol team who have lost their last two games 6-0 and 5-0. The former was almost acceptable given that it was at The Bernabeu, but the 5-0 hammering they took at home to Real Sociedad was a disgrace.
The visitors have lost their last eight away games in La Liga and the number of goals they are conceding each time is slowly increasing. If they don't improve soon, they could well be plying their trade in the Segunda Division next season.
Bet 2: Sporting Lisbon (AWAY) @ 1.5 (1/2)
Our first kick-off of the multiple comes from Portugal as Sporting Lisbon look set to return to the top of the Primeira Liga by beating Nacional in Madeira.
The big match in Portugal ended 2-1 to Porto at Benfica last night and that means Sporting only need a point in their game in hand this evening to reclaim their position as the division leaders.
Jorge Jesus knows exactly what it takes to win this league and his team have won eight of their 10 away fixtures this year. They have lost just once all season, which is two fewer than Porto and three less than Benfica.
Nacional are struggling down in 15th place and while they have taken four points from their two most recent outings, Manuel Machado's side were only facing the two teams who are currently bottom and second bottom of the league.
It's three defeats in five in front of their own fans and they have lost three on the bounce against Sporting - all to nil.
Bet 3: Juventus v Napoli (Over 2.5 goals) @ 2.5 (6/4)
Another huge game from Europe now and I think the value is definitely in backing goals when Napoli travel to Juventus in Serie A.
There are only two teams in the race for the Scudetto and they are defending champions, Juventus, and a Napoli side who are looking to win their first title since 1990.
It's 'Gli Azzurri' who currently hold the advantage as they lead Juve by two points. They have racked up an impressive 53 goals in their 24 fixtures this term and Gonzalo Higuain has slotted 24 of them.
The Argentine striker has netted in his last six Serie A outings and that includes braces against Sassuolo and Frosinone. That has helped his side see their matches average dead on three goals each time this year, with 15 of the 24 seeing over 2.5 land.
The Old Lady are a bit more conservative but their games are still averaging 2.5 goals per 90 minutes, with exactly half of them finishing with three or more scored.
If you needed any more convincing then the last four scorelines between the pair have been 2-1, 3-1, 1-3 and 2-2.
Bet 4: Deportivo v Betis (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.65 (13/20)
We conclude back in Spain as I just can't see where the goals are going to come from when Deportivo host Betis.
It's ninth versus 13th at the Riazor this evening and both clubs are struggling for form. They are 17th and 16th in the form table respectively, although Betis did beat Valencia last weekend - their first win in La Liga since November.
Juan Merino has been installed as the caretaker manager but he has his work cut out as his team are the lowest scorers in the division. With just 16 goals to their name, their matches are averaging a mere 2.04 goals each time, with 15 of their 23 ending with this selection land.
Deportivo have notched nearly twice as many - 31 - but even so, they have still had 14 of their 23 reward under 2.5 backers, including three of their last four.
I expect an edgy atmosphere for this one as a defeat for either side will be viewed as a huge disappointment. Expect it to be 0-0 for quite a while, with not too many goals by the final whistle.
