Saturday Sports Multiple: Back the Anfield draw in a 18/1 weekend wager
Andrew Hughes thinks Liverpool could drop more points against Bournemouth in Saturday's crucial Premier League clash.
“Bournemouth can be hit and miss, but they do carry a goal threat, and Liverpool’s makeshift defence looked distinctly wobbly against West Ham.”
The Premier League title race is bubbling up nicely and you can get all of the latest betting tips and previews for the top flight games that matter here.
After opening up a significant lead at the top of the table, Liverpool are now the team under pressure, dropping four points against Leicester and West Ham, and slipping to second in midweek when Manchester City beat Everton.
A win against Bournemouth would take them back to the top, but the visitors have the capacity to add to Jurgen Klopp's frustration. Bournemouth can be hit and miss, but they do carry a goal threat, and Liverpool's makeshift defence looked distinctly wobbly against West Ham. Back Bournemouth to earn a point.
Ireland were caught cold by England on the Six Nations' opening weekend, but while a trip to Murrayfield is not to be taken lightly, they should be able to grind out a win on Saturday.
The home side were good value for their 33-20 win over Italy in their opener, and would likely have won by more if Simon Berghan had stayed on the field. But Ireland present a very different and altogether tougher test.
Joe Schmidt's side were rattled by England's strength and speed at the game line in Dublin, but Scotland don't have the personnel to replicate that strategy and Ireland should be able to assert control of the game in their familiar fashion.
This has been a disappointing Big Bash League for last season's winners Adelaide Strikers and five-time finalists Perth Scorchers, and both go into their final game of the league stage with no hope of making the play-offs.
Perth can at least say they have found some form, having comfortably beaten the Melbourne Stars last time, thanks to a half-century from Ashton Turner and three wickets from Nathan Coulter-Nile.
That win came at the Optus Stadium, Perth, where they have started to look at home in the second half of the tournament. On the road it has been a different story, however, with just one win from six so far, and home advantage should be enough to enable Adelaide to finish the tournament with a win.
