There's a big game in Italy tonight and with Paul Robinson fresh off a big win, he's hoping to continue that good form at Stadio Olimpico...

Roma v AC Milan

It's an open title race in Italy this season as just six points covers first to fifth. Roma are the team in fifth and they will be desperate to win this evening and keep the pressure on Inter at the top.
Opponents, AC Milan, are back in seventh and while that doesn't sound too far away, they are actually five points worse off than Roma. They had picked up some momentum after a slow start to the campaign as they lost just one in 10, however they were beaten at the San Siro by Bologna the last time we saw them.
It's the goal-side of things we're concentrating on here though and with 35 scored and 21 conceded, the hosts are seeing their matches average 3.11 goals each time - the highest in the whole division. Over half of their fixtures have seen under 2.5 layers collect and they have netted at least twice in all of their home games bar one.
The visitors have a slightly lower average at the 2.56 mark but they have still had eight of their 18 end with three goals or more scored. Their most recent away game saw them net four in a 4-2 and they also had a 3-1 success at Lazio in November. Add in a 3-2 victory at Udinese in September and you can see that they are quite capable of getting among the goals on the road.
This should be a really good match with plenty of goals. Which is why, with under 2.5 trading at around the 1.9520/21 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
