It was close but no cigar for Kev in Argentina with yesterday's bet, and he is hoping for a better result in Sweden tonight.

"Ostersunds have won four of their five Europa League home games this season, and they have already beaten Zorya in Lviv."

Back Ostersunds to win at [1.92]

For more than an hour we were looking good in Argentina last night, but then River Plate swept away Union Santa Fe 2-0 with a pair of goals in the final quarter of the match.

We'll switch our attention to the Europa League this evening, and make a trip to the place they call the Winter City, Ostersund in Sweden.

The local football club Ostersunds have shocked Swedish football by rising from the fourth tier in recent seasons, with their progress culminating in Swedish Cup success last term. The club was only founded in 1996, but English coach Graham Potter has wrought an incredible transformation.

When Potter first arrived in Ostersund, the former Birmingham, Stoke and York defender was asked what he was doing there. When he replied that he was in charge of the football team, he was met with quizzical looks and gentle laughter. No-one is laughing now - Ostersunds finished an impressive fifth in the Allsvenskan, and they are top of their Europa League group after two wins a draw and a narrow defeat at Athletic Club in Bilbao.

Tonight's opponents, Zorya, are still in the mix after a creditable campaign that saw them pull off a shock by winning in Bilbao, and they saw off Hertha Berlin in Lviv. However, they aren't in great form, having failed to win any of their last five matches. They lost to Ostersunds on Matchday One, and overall they have lost five of their last six UEL away games.

Ostersunds have won four of their five home matches in the Europa League this season, and overall they have won five of their last eight matches at the Jamtkraft Arena. I think they can reach the last 32 with another victory tonight.
