We're in northern Italy tonight, and Kev's backing Milan to take another step towards a top-four finish.
"Milan have won five of their last seven home matches, while Udinese have struggled for months on the road, and were recently bashed at Napoli and Juventus."
Back Milan -1.0 on the Asian Handicap at 1.84/5
Udinese to suffer away-day blues again
Milan v Udinese
Tuesday 02 April, 17:00
There was once a US soap called the Young and the Restless, but we had to endure an episode of the Jong and the Hopeless last night, as Jong PSV let us down in a 3-1 reverse at Den Bosch. We move on.
The fashionable Italian city of Milan is our latest destination, and AC Milan are hoping to get their Champions League qualification campaign back on track with a home win against struggling Udinese.
Milan were absolutely flying until they were upended by crosstown rivals Inter at San Siro, and that 3-2 reverse was followed by a 1-0 defeat at Sampdoria. However, the arrival of Udinese could provide the perfect tonic.
Udinese are only three points above the dropzone, and they have really struggled away from the Dacia Arena. They have lost their last four away games, conceding four goals on three separate occasions, and you have to go back to late September for their last away win.
Igor Tudor's team hasn't exactly landed many punches on the big hitters of late. They were smashed 4-1 at Juventus, 4-2 at Napoli, and were edged out 1-0 at both Inter and Fiorentina.
Milan have won five of their last seven home games in league and cup, and they have one of the league's form strikers in Krzysztof Piatek, who has scored nine goals in his last 12 matches for club and country. They won 1-0 in Udine, and I think the Rossoneri can go one better tonight.
