After kicking off the week with an odds-against winner, Kev's taking us to Sweden for what he hopes will be another home defeat for Gefle.
"Gefle have taken just two points from their last six games, and are leaking plenty of goals."
Gefle v Helsingborgs
Tuesday 05 June, 18:00
Hapless hosts to suffer again
It proved to be a nervy finish, but despite a late red card and an even later goal, Shelbourne and Drogheda played out a 1-1 draw, which landed our Under 2.5 Goals bet.
We'll move north to Sweden now, as Gefle prepare to face Helsinborgs in the second-tier Superettan.
Gefle are doing whatever the Swedish equivalent of "having a 'mare" is at the moment. They have claimed just two points from their last six league games, and are in serious danger of going down to the third level. Last season they finished 12th in this division, just above the dropzone, and they are pushing their luck again.
The most alarming thing about Gelfe at present is their awful defending. Last time out they were pulverised 5-1 at home by Landskrona, and they have now shipped 14 goals in their last five games.
Helsingborgs are looking for promotion, after they suffered a surprising and embarrassing relegation a couple of seasons ago. They have won four of their last five league matches, including the last three. On the road, they have won two and drawn two.
Gefle are listing badly, and have lost their last four games at Gavlevallen, conceding 11 goals in the process. Even at what seem like skinny odds of [1.77], I think it's prudent to back the visitors.
