On Football...Only Bettor Kevin Hatchard, Mark O'Haire and Mark Stinchcombe discuss the Champions League odds and pick their bets for this weekend in the Premier League, Serie A and Bundesliga...
Mark O'Haire: "The Gunners have scored two goals from open play in their last nine games. I'm playing it safe with Everton double chance and under 3.5 goals."
Listen to the podcast here and read below for a summary of the panel's best bets.
Mark O'Haire (MO): "An away trip to Lazio is never easy but you'd expect Champions League winners and favourites Bayern Munich 3.9 to come through. They are still Europe's best and you wouldn't want to oppose them."
Mark Stinchcombe (MS): "PSG 13.5 could be worth an investment. Their opponents in the last-16, Barcelona 20.019/1, are not the force they were. I'd be much happier being on the French side than Juventus 14.013/1 in the outright winner market."
Kevin Hatchard (KH): "Neymar has become a leader for PSG and started to take games by the scruff of the neck. That's worrying for their opponents."
MO: "PSG are one of the best bets at the prices. But one thing that worries me is that they reached the final last year so they have played a lot more football than many other teams. They could burn out."
MS: "The Europa League is a minefield for bettors but one thing is certain - Arsenal don't jump out at me as a bet at 10.09/1. Manchester United 8.415/2, RB Salzburg 30.029/1 and Ajax 15.5 could all challenge but they have difficult draws in the round of 32."
MO: "RB Salzburg are an interesting runner but I've cooled on them since they drew Villareal. Real Sociedad 22.021/1 could bloody United's noses but the Spanish side are top of La Liga and their priorities could lie there."
West Brom - Allardyce to the rescue?
MO: "I don't have a problem with the sacking but the timing stinks. Sam Allardyce is an unimaginative appointment but he gets results. West Brom aren't a million miles from survival - there are five or six weak teams down there - and Allardyce could keep them up."
K: So can we attack West Brom's 1.434/9 relegation odds and lay them?
MS: I think they'll stay up but I hoped the price on them going down would be shorter. West Brom are in a fantastic position for Allardyce to come in and work his magic. I think Sheffield United 1.271/4 will go down and I'm not convinced Fulham [1.67 ]will stay up in spite of their recent improvement. Newcastle 7.26/1 are one to keep an eye on. They're not as solid as West Brom could be under Allardyce.
Premier League - This weekend's tips
MS: "Half of Liverpool's wins this season have been by a single goal. Under 3.0 goals is available at around 1.910/11. The only way that bet loses is if there are four or more goals. Palace will set up in a defensive manner. Liverpool will monopolise possession and try to unlock the Palace defence. For a score 1-2 stands out to me at 13/2."
MO: "City are not the team that romped to the title two seasons in a row and this is a bit of a banana skin for them. Saints are flying and you could back them +2 on the Asian Handicap. But the bet is Southampton to score and Saints +2 at even money as a same game multiple. "
MO: "Everton nullified Chelsea last weekend and continued that approach in beating Leicester in midweek. But I still don't like the make-up of Everton's midfield. There's not much for them to fear from Arsenal though. The Gunners have scored two goals from open play in their last nine games. I'm playing it safe with Everton double chance and under 3.5 goals."
MS: "I'm surprised the goal line is 2.75. I would have expected it to be 2.5. We can get evens on under 2.75 goals in the match. Big Sam often starts with a low-scoring game when he takes over at a club. Aston Villa will miss Ross Barkley. Allardyce is going to keep things tight so under 2.75 goals is a good way to go here."
KH: "You'd probably end up with a decent price if you went double chance West Brom and under 3.5 goals."
MO: "Leeds will relish this game. They are great fun to watch and there is a big rivalry here. I expect them to cause United's defence problems. Marcus Rashford and others could punish Leeds' high line though. Should be a really good game. Both teams to score will be a real live runner."
Bundesliga - Can leaders stop Bayern juggernaut?
K: "I'm going for over 3.5 goals at 1.9620/21. Bayern aren't keeping clean sheets but they have the firepower to get themselves out of trouble."
MS: "Bayern are an enormous price at 1.834/5. How often can you back arguably the world's best team at these odds in the Bundesliga? It's incredible. Leverkusen are top of the league but Bayern are a juggernaut."
K: "Another bet in Germany that I fancy on Saturday is Leipzig -1.5 at 1.910/11 v Koln. Leipzig have looked very good recently and will win this one with room to spare."
Serie A - Goalfests to keep coming?
MO: "Napoli have 24 hours less time to rest than their opponents. Lazio are a team for the big occasion under Inzaghi. Lazio are trading at 1.8 with a quarter goal stat. Lazio double chance and under 4.5 goals is 1.618/13. I expect Lazio to put Napoli under pressure."
MS: "I'm going to back goals when we can get over 2.5 at evens - that's a smashing bet. We all know that Serie A is a goal-heavy league this season. Lazio are capable of scoring three goals here themselves."
