Kev's looking for a fifth straight winner, and he's taking us to Denmark...
"Copenhagen have won nine of their last ten home games, and this season they have beaten Randers 4-0 and 3-0 in the Superliga."
Back FC Copenhagen to win -1.0 on the Asian Handicap at 1.9720/21
FC Copenhagen v Randers
Wednesday March 16, 16:00
It finished Oxford United 4 Dagenham and Redbridge 0 last night. A dagger to the heart of the visitors' survival hopes, but there were no sharp edges for us. If anything, we could've been a bit greedier. Given that I also went to see the excellent country singer Ashley Monroe, it proved to be a very pleasant evening all round.
To Denmark now, and a change from our usual Superliga outings. The league leaders FC Copenhagen are taking on Randers in the Danish Cup, and we're hoping for a comfortable home win.
Copenhagen are the reigning Danish champions, and they are a hefty nine points clear at the top of the current standings. Manager Stale Solbakken has had huge success across two spells in the Danish capital, with horrific stays at FC Cologne and Wolves in between.
The Lions are unbeaten at home in the league this season, and they take on a Randers side that has been suffering from a particularly virulent strain of travel sickness. Randers have lost seven of their 11 away matches in the league this season. Since the winter break they have collected just a point from three Superliga games, and they have suffered 1-0 defeats at Esbjerg and Brondby.
Randers last visited FC Copenhagen in November, and they were crushed 4-0. Two months earlier they lost 3-0 at the same venue. The hosts have won nine of their last ten home games, and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect them to win again this afternoon.
