The Infogol experts return with a look at the European action, using expected goals (xG) data to select this weekend's best treble...

"Cristiano Ronaldo's team have won all five of their matches so far this season, and deservedly so according to expected goals, creating plenty of good chances in matches – as was evident against Valencia even with 10-men."

Nürnberg to get first win

Nürnberg vs Hannover
Saturday, 14.30

Nürnberg are still searching for their first win in the Bundesliga this season after a 1-1 draw with at Werder Bremen last weekend.

But Nürnberg have impressed in their first three games, deserving to win their first two against Hertha Berlin (xG: HER 1.11 - 1.75 NUR) and Mainz (xG: NUR 1.56 - 0.39 MAI).

Their process has been very impressive so far, and if they continue to play the way they are then results will follow.

Hannover are also searching for their first win of the season, having the same 'drawn two, lost one' record as their hosts.

However, Hannover's performances so far this season have been very poor compared to their opponents in this game, being second best in all three of their natches.

They have conceded 5.28 xGA, an average of 1.76 xGA per game, an alarming number even after just three games.

Given how both teams have performed so far this season, backing the home side represents great value in this match at a good price.

Expect goals at Levante

Levante vs Sevilla

Levante are winless after an opening day victory against Real Betis, losing to both Celta Vigo and Espanyol and drawing against Valencia in the derby.

They have been fortunate to win four points this season, with performances being poorer than the results they have attained.

Levante are a very entertaining team to watch though, and while they do create a lot of good chances in matches, averaging 1.76 xGF per game, they are very vulnerable in defence conceding an average of 2.43 xGA per game, the second highest in the league.

Sevilla too are looking for their first league win since the opening day of the season following defeat at home to Getafe last time out.

A 5-1 win in the Europa League over Standard Liege will give them some confidence ahead of this game, as they continue to be open and expansive even under new manager Pablo Machín.

They too are a very entertaining to watch, averaging 2.01 xGF per game and conceding an average of 1.61 xGA per game.

With both sides creating and conceding a lot of good chances in matches, plenty of goals are expected in Valencia, with Over 3.5 goals the selection.

Juve to keep clean sheet in win

Frosinone vs Juventus
Sunday, 19.30
Live on Eleven Sports 1 and Betfair Live Video

Juventus travel to Frosinone looking to maintain their winning start to the season.

Frosinone are yet to win in four matches so far, picking up just one point in four games, about as much as they have deserved based on expected goals.

They have ben toothless in attack, creating very few chances in matches and are yet to score this season following a 5-0 thrashing from Sampdoria last weekend.

Frosinone are averaging just 0.79 xGF per game in attack, and are conceding an average of 2.13 xGA, so shouldn't pose too much of a test for Juventus in this match.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a mixed week; scoring his first two goals for Juventus in their 2-1 win over Sassuolo last weekend, before being sent off after just 29 minutes against Valencia in the Champions League.

His team have won all five of their matches so far this season, and deservedly so according to expected goals, creating plenty of good chances in matches - as was evident against Valencia even with 10-men.

Douglas Costa begins his ban after a strange and unacceptable incident last weekend, but the Old Lady will have way too much quality for a poor Frosinone side, and backing Juve to win to nil is the selection.
