It's League Cup, La Liga and Ligue One action for Paul Robinson's Daily Acca today, and he is expecting the pressure to mount on Marco Silva. Here are his selections:

- Back Sheffield Wednesday @ 18/5
- Back BTTS in Barcelona v Villarreal @ 8/15
- Back Over 2.5 Goals in Monaco v Nice @ 4/5

The Acca pays approximately 12/1

Another Sheffield defeat for Everton

Bet 1: Back Sheffield Wednesday @ 18/5 - KO 19:45 BST

It's hard to know what kind of line-up the respective managers will put out, but on odds alone, Sheffield Wednesday are the value against Everton this evening.

Marco Silva's visitors have had a poor start to the campaign, as they haven't taken advantage of their kind run of fixtures. They have now lost their last two - against Bournemouth and Sheffield United - and Silva is a man under pressure.

Garry Monk's men earned a good point against Fulham on Saturday, and prior to that they had won at Huddersfield. The Hillsborough crowd will be right behind them, and any Everton weakness will be exposed.

Goals at both ends at the Nou Camp

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Barcelona v Villarreal @ 8/15 - KO 20:00 BST

Barcelona are having a difficult start to their season, as they have already lost two of their five La Liga games, and they have also drawn one too.

They are yet to keep a clean sheet, and they had to rely on a penalty save to keep one in the Champions League last week.

Villarreal are one place and one point better off, and they have won their last two games. They have scored 12 goals in five matches - the joint highest with Barcelona - but they also conceded eight goals during that period.

Another high-scorer in Monaco

Bet 3: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Monaco v Nice @ 4/5 - KO 20:00 BST

This is Monaco's seventh Ligue One fixture of the season, and they are still searching for their first success. They have drawn three and lost four, and with 14 goals against, they have the worst defensive record in the division.

Nice are flying in third place, as they have won four of their six matches to date. In an interesting stat, all of their games have finished 2-1 or 1-2, and with Monaco already having had five matches go Over 2.5 this term, the 4/5 looks far too big for this selection.
