The hosts were beaten by bottom club, Figueirense, at the weekend, but that was away from home, and in front of their own fans, they have an excellent record.

The sixth placed team have won seven of their last eight at home, with the other being a draw. Given that there are only 10 games left in the season, they can't afford many home slip-ups if they want to earn promotion.

Vila Nova are the visitors and they are down in 17th place. They have actually been in decent form though, as it's just one defeat from their last five. Only one of those was a win, however.

In their latest away match they were beaten 3-1 at Sao Bento, and it will be difficult for them to get their good away form back tonight.

When it comes to high-scoring affairs, Sao Bento and Coritiba are two of the more likely teams to have them in Brazil's Serie B.

The former are seeing their matches average dead on 2.5 goals each time, which is the second highest total in the division. Half of their 28 fixtures have seen this selection land - including their two latest outings on this ground.

Coritiba trail slightly in the stats as their average is at the 2.19 mark, but they rarely keep clean sheets on the road, and they have only failed to find the net themselves in three of their dozen away games.

Leaders to concede at home

RB Bragantino are leading the way in the Brazilian second tier and they have won 10 of their 14 at home this season. The other four were draws, so they are yet to be beaten, but three of their last six victories haven't been to nil.

Oeste are their opponents tonight, and while they are only 14th in the table, they have scored in six of their last eight away from home, but haven't kept a clean sheet since July.
