It's two from the Premier League and one from the Championship for Paul Robinson today and it begins with a win for the hosts at Craven Cottage. Here are his selections:

Fulham to earn themselves a lifeline

Bet 1: Back Fulham @ 7/5 - KO 19:45 GMT

It's desperate times for Fulham and you feel that they absolutely have to beat Brighton tonight to keep their survival bid alive. Of course there is still a long way to go, but they are already seven points adrift, and with Cardiff, Newcastle and Burnley facing Arsenal, Man City and Man United, respectively, this would be a great opportunity to close that gap.

Since Claudio Ranieri's men beat Huddersfield 1-0 at the end of December, they have gone on to lose four straight games. They did play much better against Spurs most recently though, and they were unlucky to be beaten.

Brighton are a decent side but they aren't anything special. The Seagulls have lost eight of their 12 away fixtures this term and they were in action on Saturday, while Fulham had the weekend off.

Defence to fail at the Liberty

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Swansea v Birmingham @ 4/5 - KO 19:45 GMT

Into the Championship now as I fancy goals for both teams when Swansea host Birmingham.

The Swans are in great form as they are unbeaten in six in all competitions - four wins and two draws. They scored two goals or more in four of those games, but they did only keep the two clean sheets.

The Blues are going the other way as a run of five without a win - and three defeats in a row ahead of this match - has seen them drop to 13th in the league and exit the FA Cup.

Scoring goals has never really been their issue though and they have found the net at least once in each of their last 10 away from St Andrew's in the league. This selection would have landed in seven of them, and Garry Monk's men really need to get on the front foot here.

Magpies to get a goal against City

Bet 3: Back BTTS in Newcastle v Man City @ 23/20 - KO 20:00 GMT

Back to the Premier League now and while Newcastle versus Manchester City will likely be one-sided, I will continue to back BTTS in City games when it is above evens.

For all their dominance, Pep Guardiola's side have conceded plenty of goals this season. Admittedly, they have actually kept six clean sheets on the bounce ahead of this game, but two of those were against Burton, one against Rotherham and one against Huddersfield.

The clean sheet at the John Smith's Stadium was their first in five away from the Etihad in the league and Newcastle put three past Cardiff in their most recent home league outing. Rafa Benitez's men will certainly be up for this and they have caused some top teams a few problems this year.
