Paul Robinson hit the jackpot in the MLS last night as the Daily Acca was an 8/1 winner, and he's back there today, but this time, the treble comes in at 14/1. Here are his selections:
The Acca pays approximately 14/1
Colorado to continue their rapid recovery
Bet 1: Back Colorado Rapids @ 1/1 - KO 02:00 BST (Fri)
The Colorado Rapids have hit form recently, and their progress culminated in a 1-0 win over Los Angeles last weekend. They are now seven without defeat - five wins and two draws - and the run is even more remarkable given that it comes on the back of eight straight losses.
Interim manager, Conor Casey, presided over the last two of those defeats, but he's managed to turn the ship around, and it's hard to see his team not making it five successive home wins tonight.
Opponents, New England, are on an unbeaten run of their own - six games to be precise - but their record on the road isn't that great. They have won just the once away from home this term, and in May they were beaten 6-1 and 5-0 at Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire, respectively.
DC United to pick up another draw
Bet 2: Back The Draw in Dallas v DC United @ 3/1 - KO 02:00 BST (Fri)
The Toros fell to a 1-0 defeat at Portland Timbers when they were last in action, and they are now down to seventh in the Western Conference.
Luchi Gonzalez's side will be aiming to get back on track on home soil, and while they are four unbeaten in front of their own fans, two of those ended all square - including their most recent outing here.
The visitors needed a late Wayne Rooney penalty to salvage a draw against Toronto at the weekend - a result which was their fourth draw in their last five games.
Ben Olsen's men don't have the best of away records, but it is worth noting that they have held their opponents to draws in two of their last three away from Audi Field.
Faith lost in unpredictable Galaxy
Bet 3: Back Toronto & Draw @ 10/11 - KO 03:30 BST (Fri)
La Galaxy are a very hard team to predict, so I'm playing the odds here and backing Toronto and the Draw, at just shy of evens.
The Galaxy have actually lost their last three at home, and they weren't all against top teams either. Admittedly they had won their previous six at Dignity Health Sports Park, but it's hard to trust them at this point.
The Canadians have improved following a bad spell, to lose just one of their last five outings. Now only one of those was a win, but a draw would do us just fine tonight, and they recently picked up a point at both Vancouver Whitecaps and DC United.
