World Cup to get off to a slow start
Bet 1: Back Under 1.5 Goals in Russia v Saudi Arabia @ 9/5 - KO 16:00 BST
The Russians didn't have to qualify as they are the tournament hosts and it's a good job they weren't required to as they have been in pretty miserable form since being dumped out of the last European Championships in the group stage.
Stanislav Cherchesov took over as manager in August 2016 and his record is played 20, won five, drawn six and lost nine. They come into this match having gone seven without a victory, with their latest success coming all the way back in October 2017.
Scoring goals has been the main issue of late as they netted just six times during their seven match winless run - and three of those came in one crazy 3-3 draw against Spain.
Saudi Arabia will likely be viewed as the group whipping boys and the odds suggest that they aren't expected to get a result this afternoon. They have lost their last three warm-up friendlies, but they did face Italy, Peru and Germany - going down by just a single goal to the European duo.
Juan Antonio Pizzi's side came through final qualifying with only 10 goals conceded in 10 outings and I can definitely see them trying to keep it as tight as possible here, and then ease their way into the game during the latter stages.

Finnish to prove to be poor finishers
Bet 2: Back Under 2.5 Goals in Haka v Klubi-04 @ 6/5 - KO 16:30 BST
Given the small number of top games on offer today - that changes from tomorrow with at least three World Cup fixtures per day - we find ourselves in the Finnish second tier for our second selection.
The Ykkonen as it's called is seven games into the season and this match sees seventh placed, Haka, take on the ninth placed, Klubi-04. Please note, there are only 10 teams in the division.
The hosts have proven to be consistently inconsistent this year as they have won two, drawn two and lost three. They have scored eight goals and conceded nine, which gives their games an average of 2.43 goals each time. It is worth noting however that four of their seven have seen under 2.5 backers collect.
Klubi-04 have taken seven points from their seven fixtures, and they have only scored five goals to date. Their matches are also averaging 2.43 goals per 90 minutes and four of their seven have had two goals or less. Away from home it's one goal in three for the visitors.
Back goals in Sweden
Bet 3: Back BTTS in Halmstad v Helsingborg @ 4/6 - KO 18:00 BST
We conclude in the Swedish Superettan which is their second division. Both Halmstad and Helsingborg are doing well this year as they are fifth and third respectively and they come into the game on unbeaten runs.
My angle for this match is goals as I can definitely see the net bulging at both ends. The hosts have knocked in 18 in 11 this term, while the visitors have hit 21 at a rate of nearly two per game.
Both teams to score backers would have collected in the last two matches that these two have played and the highlight of the stats on offer is that this selection has come in in four of Helsingborg's five away fixtures this season.
