Paul Robinson focuses on the Brazilian top flight for today's edition of the Daily Acca as he's found a little 3/1 treble. Here are his selections:

- Back Under 2.5 Goals in Ponte Preta v Santos @ 8/15
- Back BTTS in Vitoria BA v Sport Recife @ 4/6
- Back Flamengo @ 8/13

The Acca pays approximately 3/1

Bet 1: Back Under 2.5 Goals in Ponte Preta v Santos @ 8/15 - KO 21:00 BST

The visitors come into the match sitting third in the table and even though they have a game in hand over leaders, Corinthians, they have no real chance of catching them for the title. The gap is at 11 points and even if it goes to eight, there are only 11 rounds of fixtures left and it's difficult to see Corinthians slipping up that badly.

After scoring a large amount of goals last season - especially at home - it's a bit of a surprise that Levir Culpi's side have managed to net just 27 in 26 outings so far this term. Their defensive record is far better - just 16 against - and that has led to 22 of their 26 fixtures seeing under 2.5 backers collect.

Ponte Preta could do with some points as they are just one point above the relegation zone. A draw would likely be deemed as a decent enough result against Santos and they are hardly prolific at home - five goals in their last six on this ground.

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Vitoria BA v Sport Recife @ 4/6 - KO 21:00 BST

The hosts have climbed to 11th in the Campeonato following two shock away wins - one at Atletico Mineiro and one at Botafogo. They scored three goals in both of those matches and there hasn't been a clean sheet in any of their last four games.

Sport Recife's domestic form has fallen off a cliff in recent months as since the start of August they have played nine, won none, drawn three and lost six.

Those poor results have seen them drop into the relegation zone and they really need to take the game to their opponents tonight. Despite the respective recent form of the two, there really isn't much between them and I can see an open, attacking affair with goals at both ends.

Bet 3: Back Flamengo @ 8/13 - KO 21:00 BST

The stakes are quite high in this match between Flamengo and Fluminense as they both need to win for very different reasons.

'Big Mengo' were beaten in the final of the Copa do Brasil, which means they now must finish in the top six to qualify for next season's Copa Libertadores.

They are in seventh - four points behind Botafogo - but they do at least have a game in hand. Generally speaking their record has been good in front of their own fans and they have now won seven of their last 11 at home.

Their opponents are struggling down in 16th place, which is quite poor given the size and history of Fluminense. They come into the match on the back of four straight defeats in all competitions and their unbeaten run on the road has come to a dramatic halt, with two defeats from two of late.
