The Daily Acca: Libertadores Final to end with less than 22 men on the pitch

Expect more fireworks from El Monumental

A couple of fierce derbies and a fixture from Brazil's top flight make up Paul Robinson's Daily Acca today and the combination pays around the 6/1 mark. Here are his selections:

- Back Atletico PR @ 20/23
- Back Over 2.5 Goals in Genoa v Sampdoria @ 9/10
- Back A Red Card in River Plate v Boca Juniors @ 10/11

The Acca pays approximately 6/1

No unlucky 13 for Atletico PR

Bet 1: Back Atletico PR @ 20/23 - KO 19:00 GMT

We begin with what is surely the bet of the day as Atletico PR are much more of a certainty than the 20/23 on offer suggests.

The selection are formidable at home, and they are currently on a run of 12 straight victories in front of their own fans. This is their final home game of the season, and they really need to win it if they have any chance of finishing in the top six and earning a Libertadores Play-off place.

Ceara are the visitors and they are down in 15th place, just two positions above the relegation zone. The gap is four points though, and they have a home fixture to come against fellow strugglers, Vasco da Gama, on the final day, so it's not like this is a must-win for them.

Despite their decent form of late, they have still lost four of their last six on the road, and in their last three away games, they have taken one point and scored just one goal, against teams who are in the bottom half of the division.

Goals galore in Genoa derby

Bet 2: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Genoa v Sampdoria @ 9/10 - KO 19:30 GMT

It's the Derby della Lanterna in Italy this evening and the stats are pointing towards goals.

Genoa were unlucky not to take something from their game against Napoli prior to the international break, but the 2-1 defeat was their third straight loss.

Sampdoria have also been beaten on their last three outings, so neither side are in good form, and that only increases the pressure ahead of an already pressure-filled match.

Goals is my angle in this one as a win would mean so much to either manager. The stats are also in our favour too, as the hosts have seen four of their six at home this season - including their last three - end with three goals or more, while the visitors have had three of their last five on their travels go over 2.5.

Bad blood to spill onto the pitch in Libertadores Final

Bet 3: Back a Red Card in River Plate v Boca Juniors @ 10/11 - KO 20:00 GMT

The second leg of the Copa Libertadores final should have been played yesterday, but as you will have seen or heard in the press, the match was postponed by 24hrs due to the Boca team bus being attacked by a certain section of River Plate fans.

This is one of, if not the most fiercest derbies in world football and yesterday's events can only intensify that. This fixture is littered with bad behaviour and the stakes don't come any higher than a Copa Libertadores final - the first time these two clubs have met in one.

The first leg was 2-2 and it was actually the third meeting in a row where there hadn't been a sending off. Prior to that however, the red card had been brandished fives times in the previous four Superclasico's, and I can't see the Boca players being any less pumped up than usual following Saturday's events.
