The main club action of the day comes from the Brazilian top flight and Paul Robinson has picked out a 31/1 Daily Acca that has him feeling hopeful of a big win. Here are his selections:

- Back Under 2.5 Goals in America MG v Santos @ 4/9
- Back BTTS in Parana v Palmeiras @ 12/5
- Back BTTS in Botafogo v Internacional @ 21/20
- Back The Draw in Sport Recife v Flamengo @ 9/4

The Acca pays approximately 31/1

Goals at a premium in Belo Horizonte

Bet 1: Back Under 2.5 Goals in America MG v Santos @ 4/9 - KO 19:00 GMT

America MG's form has tailed off just at the wrong time as a run of four straight defeats has left them second from bottom with only four games to go.

All is not lost however as they are only four points adrift of safety, but the problem is that they have seemingly lost the ability to put the ball in the net.

The hosts have scored just three times over the course of their last 11 outings, and that has led to nine of them ending with under 2.5 backers collecting.

Santos' resurgence has been curtailed courtesy of three straight defeats - the two latest of which were 1-0 reverses. They will now have to make do with a Copa Sudamericana place for next season, and it's hard to see Cuca getting them up for this match.

Back the bottom club to strike against the champions elect

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Parana v Palmeiras @ 12/5 - KO 19:00 GMT

It's bottom versus top in Curitiba this evening and I'm backing the already relegated, Parana, to get on the scoresheet.

It's been a torrid campaign for last year's Serie B fourth placed finishers, and their fate was sealed a long time ago. That being said, they beat America MG last weekend, and they have found the net in nine of their last 13 on this ground.

Palmeiras are five points clear at the top as 'Big' Phil Scolari has returned to the club and will surely deliver the only major trophy that eluded him in his other two spells at the aptly named 'Big Green'.

There haven't been many clean sheets of late however as they have conceded in four of their last five in the league, yet they haven't been beaten in the Campeonato since July 25th - two days before Scolari's return.

There is absolutely no guarantee that Parana will be able to score tonight, but the stats suggest that we have a much better chance of BTTS than the 12/5 on offer, which is why I have to include it here.

Goal-trend to continue in Internacional away games

Bet 3: Back BTTS in Botafogo v Internacional @ 21/20 - KO 19:00 GMT

The main challengers left to Palmeiras' title bid are Internacional, and they face a tricky test at an in-form, Botafogo.

The hosts have won three on the bounce, as they bid to book their place in next season's Copa Sudamericana. A 2-1 victory over the third placed, Flamengo, highlights their credentials, and they have only failed to score in one of their last eight in front of their own fans - four of which saw this selection land.

The visitors are unbeaten in six - three wins and three draws - and aside from a 2-0 victory over the second from bottom, America MG, all of them had goals at both ends.

They are on a run of five on their travels to see both teams to score backers collect, and as they have to go for the win here, we should get plenty of attacking football.

All square at Sport

Bet 4: Back The Draw in Sport Recife v Flamengo @ 9/4 - KO 20:00 GMT

Sport Recife edged their way closer to safety with a 0-0 draw at home to Vitoria on Wednesday - their second goalless draw in a row - but they can't afford to relax yet, as despite being two places clear of the relegation zone, the gap is only a single point.

They are unbeaten in five - two of which were draws - and despite their struggles, they don't lose many matches in Recife - just four out of 17 this term.

Flamengo are in third place, but a seven point deficit to the leaders is surely insurmountable at this stage of proceedings, and their biggest concern will be finishing in the top four.

A draw in this tricky away fixture would be a decent enough result for Dorival Júnior's men, and that is something that they have achieved in seven of their 17 away games this year - four of which have come within their last eight road trips.
