The Daily Acca: Napoli to score at least twice to beat Genoa

Italian side Napoli
Can Napoli end Juventus' Italian domination?

It's all about goals for Paul Robinson and his Daily Acca today as he wants loads of them in Italy and France. Here are his selections:

- Back Over 2.5 Goals in Lazio v Bologna @ 8/13
- Back BTTS in Napoli v Genoa @ 6/4
- Back BTTS in Marseille v Lyon @ 8/13

The Acca pays approximately 11/2

Rome to be the scene of a high-scoring affair

Bet 1: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Lazio v Bologna @ 8/13 - KO 19:45 GMT

The hosts are pushing for a top four finish and qualification into next season's Champions League and it would appear that the final two places will be taken by two of Roma, Inter, Lazio and AC Milan.

Lazio are in fifth, just three points off third and they will be desperate to get the victory this evening to keep the pressure on their rivals. They have taken just one point from their two latest outings as they were beaten here by Juventus, before drawing 2-2 at Cagliari last time out.

As far as the goals go, five of their last seven on this ground have seen this selection land and they have had plenty of goal-fests this term. Their opponents at Bologna and they come into the game having lost four on the bounce on their travels.

They were beaten 1-0 at SPAL in their last away game, but prior to that, their previous six had all ended with at least three goals.

Maurizio Sarri's side to concede again

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Napoli v Genoa @ 6/4 - KO 19:45 GMT

Napoli were handed an unexpected lifeline in the race for the Serie A title yesterday as Juventus could only draw 0-0 at SPAL. What that means is that the Naples based club can close the gap to two points in their game in hand tonight, and while I expect them to do it, I very much doubt that they will win to nil.

Genoa are only 13th in the table but they have won two of their last three on the road - beating Lazio 2-1 and Chievo 1-0. They did fire a blank at Bologna last time out, but they are facing a Napoli team who conceded four when they last played in front of their own fans.

Even prior to that they had conceded goals to Bologna and Lazio in two of their previous three home matches, so it would appear that goals are on the cards - with 6/4 being a great price.

No clean sheet in Stade Vélodrome

Bet 3: Back BTTS in Marseille v Lyon @ 8/13 - KO 20:00 GMT

We finish in France for a match that has implications in the race for next year's Champions League. Marseille and Lyon are third and fourth in Ligue One, with the former holding a five point advantage, Only the top three qualify for the Champions League, so Lyon really need to take the game to the hosts as it's almost a win or bust scenario.

The stats are in our favour too as Marseille's last four matches featured goals at both ends and Lyon's last four away scorelines in the league have been 3-1, 3-2, 2-2 and 1-1.

The pair of them have an identical goal record this term with 59 scored and 34 conceded in 29 fixtures and their matches are averaging 3.21 goals per 90 minutes.
