Brentford to be left singing the blues
Bet 1: Back Birmingham @ 5/4 - KO 15:00 GMT
The Blues made it back to back victories on Boxing Day by beating Stoke 2-0 and they really shouldn't have any trouble in getting past Brentford.
The visitors have actually taken four points from a possible six of late, but they have generally been poor since Dean Smith left the club, and away from home they are yet to win this season.
Garry Monk's hosts have won five of their last seven at St Andrew's and they have been scoring plenty of goals. They should be odds-on here.
Goals galore at Deepdale
Bet 2: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Preston v Aston Villa @ 8/11 - KO 15:00 GMT
Preston have recovered following a poor start to their campaign, but they have lost both of their matches over the festive period.
Aston Villa suffered a heart-breaking defeat to Leeds on the Sunday before Christmas, but they bounced back with huge credit to win at Swansea on Boxing Day.
Dean Smith's side have been great going forward, but absolutely terrible at the back. Seven of their last eight have seen this selection land and the same can be said for nine of Preston's last 11 on this ground.
More of the same from West Brom
Bet 3: Back West Brom & BTTS @ 15/8 - KO 15:00 GMT
Sheffield Wednesday have won both of their matches since they sacked Jos Luhukay, but I fear that Lee Bullen's 100% record will come to an end at the Hawthorns this afternoon.
The Baggies have bounced back to form by going eight unbeaten - the three most recent of which were victories. They have kept clean sheets in the last two, but they were against Rotherham and Wigan - the joint third lowest scorers in the Championship.
The Owls have netted in each of their last three on their travels, and two of those were losses. In fact, five of their seven away defeats this year have all seen them score, and Darren Moore's side have kept just the one clean sheet in seven at home.
