King's Lynn to continue their downward spiral
Bet 1: Back Gloucester & Draw @ 5/4 - KO 19:45 GMT
King's Lynn were looking like they were nailed on for the National League North title and promotion to the National League, but just one win from their last six - four of which ended in defeat - has left them trailing York by two points, albeit with a couple of games in hand.
Even though they are playing Gloucester this evening - a team who are fourth from bottom - I couldn't be backing them at odds-on to win away from home, which is why 5/4 for the hosts to earn at least a point is decent value.
Despite their league position, The Tigers are actually in decent form, having taken seven points from their last three games, and they have only been beaten in five of their 14 at home this term.
Lanus to begin with a win
Bet 2: Back Lanus @ 23/20 - KO 22:00 GMT
Lanus have won just one of their last five matches in all competitions, but they are usually very strong at home, and I can't let them go un-backed at 23/20.
The visitors will be no pushovers, as Argentinos Juniors finished fifth in the Superliga - two places above Lanus. Their record away from home was a bit patchy though, as they lost more than they won, and scored just five goals in 11 road games.
The hosts lost just one of their 11 home fixtures - winning six and drawing four - and when they met here in September in the Copa Argentina, they ran out 4-1 winners.
Colon to be beaten again
Bet 3: Back Rosario Central @ 4/6 - KO 00:10 GMT (Tues)
Rosario Central finished the league campaign in ninth place, and they won seven of their final dozen matches. They are at home tonight, and they come into the game on the back of six straight home victories.
Opponents, Colon, finished second from bottom, and they completed their league season with a trio of defeats - all without scoring a goal.
The clinching factor for me though, is that other than cup games, they are without a win in 24 away games - losing 19 of them. Even more damning, 13 of the last 14 were defeats.
