Watford's sticky patch to continue against the Toffees

Bet 1: Back Everton @ 3/4 - KO 20:00 GMT

Everton let down a lot of odds-on backers last Wednesday when they failed to beat Newcastle on this ground, but I'm going to give them another chance tonight.

They are facing a Watford side who have taken just one point from a possible 15 of late and they've actually won just two of their last 12 in all competitions.

Javi Gracia's men did put up a fight against Man City when they were last in action, but they still lost, and now they are away from home. Goals have been hard to come by for the Hornets away from Vicarage Road as they have fired three blanks in their last five.

Prior to their draw with Newcastle, the hosts had won four on the bounce at Goodison, and three of those were to nil. A home win looks likely.

Mark O'Haire is also keen on an Everton victory.

Don't underestimate Girona

Bet 2: Back Girona +1 Goal @ 5/6 - KO 20:00 GMT

I can only think that this match has been priced up on name value alone, as I can't believe that Girona are almost even money to avoid defeat at Athletic Club.

The visitors are yet to taste defeat on their travels this term, winning three and drawing three. Two of those victories came on their two most recent road trips, and one of them was at Valencia. They also drew at the Nou Camp in September.

Bilbao won in the cup last time out, but that was against Huesca who are bottom of La Liga. They themselves are third from bottom of the table, and they have won just once in the league this year - in their very first match of the season.

They have played six times since at home - drawing four and losing two - so I can't entertain them as winners tonight, at the prices at least.

A rare goal-fest in Argentina

Bet 3: Back Over 2.5 Goals in Patronato v Velez Sarsfield @ 31/20 - KO 22:00 GMT

There aren't too many high-scoring games in Argentina, but that doesn't mean that there are none. What it does mean however is that you usually get good odds on over 2.5.

Patronato's matches are averaging 2.64 goals each time this season, as eight of their 14 have seen this selection land. Five of those have come from their seven home games, and their four most recent scorelines on this ground were 2-1, 1-2, 2-1 and 3-3.

Velez Sarsfield don't have as high an average as theirs is at the 2.07 mark, and only three of their 14 have ended with the ball in the net on three occasions or more.

It is worth noting though that seven of their 14 only failed to go over 2.5 by a single goal, so it's not like they have been involved in a load of 0-0's.

A final point for the visitors is that their three to go over 2.5 all came away from home - including two of their last three.
