The Acca pays approximately 12/1
Goals at both ends in Bundesliga 2 opener
Bet 1: Back BTTS in Dynamo Dresden v MSV Duisburg @ 4/6 - KO 19:30 BST
We kick off in Germany as this Bundesliga 2 match should have goals for both teams.
Dynamo Dresden finished 14th in this division last season and their downfall was definitely how many goals they conceded. With a total of 52 against, only four other teams had a worse defensive record.
One of those teams was today's opponents - MSV Druisburg. They shipped an alarming 56 over the course of their 34 game season, but they still managed to finish in seventh place.
That's largely down to the fact that they netted 52 themselves, which meant that their matches averaged 3.18 goals each time. Dresden's average was 2.76, which is why I am quite surprised that BTTS is as big as 4/6.
Steve Bruce to repay show of good faith
Bet 2: Back Aston Villa @ 6/4 - KO 19:45 BST
Aston Villa suffered heartbreak in the Play-off final last year, and although they have had a bit of a turbulent summer off the pitch, things seem to be settling down in time for the new campaign.
Steve Bruce's men have won four of their last five friendlies and they will be confident of starting their league season with an away win - something which they achieved 10 times last term.
The Villans travel to Hull City tonight with the hosts looking to improve on their 18th place finish last year. Nigel Adkins took charge from last December and while it took him a while to get going, the team had a decent run from mid-February to mid-April.
They finished the year without a win in four though and they didn't win any of their final four friendlies. I am not suggesting that they are relegation fodder, but I think that Villa should prove too strong here.
Lorient to let down favourite backers
Bet 3: Back Chateauroux @ 2/1 - KO 19:45 BST
The French second tier is our final destination of the day as Chateauroux are worth chancing at 2/1 at home to Lorient.
These two teams finished ninth and seventh in Ligue Two last season respectively, and the difference in points was also two. The pair of them both opened up with a 0-0 draw this year, with the selection's being a touch more impressive as they were away from home.
The hosts were pretty formidable in front of their own fans last season as they won 10 of their 19 outings - losing just four. It's also worth noting that one of those 10 successes was a 3-1 victory over Lorient.
The visitors ended the previous campaign with four defeats from five on the road, and they were beaten in nine of their 19 away games overall. That is by far from the worst record, but I just don't understand why they are favourites tonight, and I'm willing to back accordingly.
