It's France, England and Spain for Paul Robinson this evening as he has put together a 9/1 treble. Here are his selections:

- Back Lens @ 4/5
- Back Under 2.5 Goals in Man United v Stoke @ 13/8
- Back Betis @ 23/20

The Acca pays approximately 9/1

Bet 1: Back Lens @ 4/5 - KO 19:45 GMT

This is a French Ligue Two fixture and I am backing Lens to prove too strong for Sochaux.

The hosts are only 13th in the table but they have won five of their last six in the league on this ground and the sole blemish was a 1-0 defeat to the runaway leaders.

The visitors are in 10th and six points better off than their opponents but they lost last time out and it's two defeats in three on their travels. They aren't the worst team in the world, but they have been beaten in four of their 10 away games this season and it's worth noting that their latest loss was against the second from bottom, Quevilly Rouen.

Bet 2: Back Under 2.5 Goals in Man United v Stoke @ 13/8 - KO 20:00 GMT

To Old Trafford now for Man United versus Stoke and the news hot off the press is that Paul Lambert is the new Stoke manager. He will only be watching from the stands tonight, but I'm sure his presence will give the players a lift as they will want to impress their new boss.

Even if they were still manager-less, I wouldn't expect Man United to run up a huge scoreline against them anyway. Jose Mourinho's side just aren't in good enough goal-scoring form, and that is reflected in the fact that three of their last four in all competitions at Old Trafford have seen this selection land.

This should be a hard-fought game that could stay 0-0 for quite a while. The important thing for United is closing the gap on Man City to 12 points, and arguably the most important thing for Stoke is not to suffer a morale damaging heavy defeat.

Bet 3: Back Betis @ 23/20 - KO 20:00 GMT

We conclude in Spain for a La Liga fixture between Betis and Leganes that Betis should prove too strong in.

Following a good start to the campaign, the wheels then came off for Real Betis, but they have since stabilised with two wins from their last three outings - including a 5-3 victory at Sevilla most recently.

While the hosts have had their feet up since that win on January 6th, Leganes had to play on the 7th in the league and then on the 10th in the cup. That isn't the best preparation for this match and they lost the cup game - 2-1 at Villarreal.

That was their fifth away loss in six attempts and the only non-defeat was a 0-0 draw at the struggling Levante.
