The Daily Acca: All change at the top of the Brazilian second division

Brazilian football fans
It's an interesting title race in Brazil's Serie B this season

Paul Robinson is focusing on the Brazilian second tier tonight and his Daily Acca comes in at just above the 10/1 mark. Here are his selections:

- Back Sao Bento & Draw @ 5/6
- Back Under 1.5 Goals in Oeste v Operario PR @ 5/4
- Back Atletico GO @ 7/4

The Acca pays approximately 10/1

Botafogo SP to let down favourite backers

Bet 1: Back Sao Bento & Draw @ 5/6 - KO 23:15 BST

Botafogo SP are in 10th place in Brazil's Serie B, but they have dropped quite far from the top four having gone four without a victory.

Two defeats to nil were followed by a pair of goalless draws, so not only have they not been winning, they haven't been scoring either.

The visitors put a couple of losses behind them by drawing 0-0 at home to Figueirense last time out. Their record on the road is poor - seven defeats in 10 this term - but they recently won 4-2 at Londrina, and they have plenty of goals in them.

Little excitement between these two

Bet 2: Back Under 1.5 Goals in Oeste v Operario PR @ 5/4 - KO 00:30 BST (Sat)

Goals should be at a premium at Oeste tonight as the hosts have only scored more than once in two of their 10 home outings this term, and they failed to find the net in two of their last three.

Operario PR have climbed to sixth, thanks to a five match unbeaten run. They kept four clean sheets during that period, and all four of those matches saw this selection land.

Away from home it's two 0-0's in a row, and Oeste had a goalless draw on their most recent home appearance.

Leaders to fall to their second successive defeat

Bet 3: Back Atletico GO @ 7/4 - KO 01:30 BST (Sat)

The top two meet tonight, and while the leaders have a four point advantage over their rivals, I expect that gap to be down to one come the end of the night.

Atletico GO finished the previous campaign well and they haven't slowed down this time around. They are currently on a run of six without defeat - four wins and two draws - and three of their last five on this ground have resulted in victory.

RB Bragantino are a club on the up following their takeover by Red Bull, but they were beaten at Sport Recife last weekend, and that was their fourth away defeat of the season.
