Expect goals at the Allianz Arena
Bet 1: Back Bayern Munich & BTTS @ 6/4 - KO 19:30 BST
The reigning Bundesliga champions kicks off the season in Germany this evening, and while I expect them to win, I can't see them keeping a clean sheet.
Hertha Berlin finished 11th in the standings last term and they have a new manager for this campaign. Ante Čović steps up from being in charge of the second team and he will be wanting to make a good impression.
It took the host seven home matches last term before they kept a clean sheet and the visitors averaged over a goal a game on their travels.
Huddersfield's slow start to continue
Bet 2: Back Fulham @ 6/4 - KO 19:45 BST
The Terriers have made a very disappointing start to life back in the Championship as they lost at home to Derby, before drawing 1-1 at QPR. They were also knocked out of the League Cup, on this ground, by Lincoln, on Tuesday.
Fulham head north having put their 1-0 loss at Barnsley behind them. They beat Blackburn 2-0 at Craven Cottage, and Scott Parker's men look set for a strong campaign.
The same can't really be said for Jan Siewert's side, based on the evidence to date anyway, and the visitors appear to be a decent price to take the three points.
Barca to be thwarted in Bilbao
Bet 3: Back Athletic Bilbao +1 Goal @ 11/10 - KO 20:00 BST
Barcelona kick off their La Liga season with a tricky fixture at Athletic Bilbao, and given the strength of The Lions at home, I think that they can avoid defeat.
Gaizka Garitano's side were only beaten at home on two occasions last year, and they both happened pretty early on. They ended the year with a 14 match undefeated streak on this ground - including a 0-0 draw with Barca.
Ernesto Valverde's team have made some big signings over the summer, but the signature of Neymar has so far eluded them. They should be challenged a bit more strongly for the title this year - especially by Real Madrid - and they might have be content with a point to begin with.
