It's been a frustrating start to the week, but Kev hopes to turn things around with a bit of FA Cup magic.
"Hendon have scored in every single game they have played this season."
Chippenham Town v Hendon
Wednesday 10 October, 19:45
This week is following an unwelcome pattern so far. Twice we've gone for Over 2.5 Goals, and twice it's been 1-1 with a long time to go in the match. This time, in the game between Paysandu and CRB last night, it was 1-1 after 38 minutes. Seeing as overs was trading at [2.86] before kickoff, hopefully some of you got something out of it.
We'll head to England now, and take in an early FA Cup clash between Chippenham Town and Hendon. Both teams pull at a heartstring or two - I used to go down to Chippenham on school trips (Wiltshire and Gloucestershire didn't quite have a metropolitan buzz, but they had brass rubbing), while Hendon is just down the road from the current Hatchard base camp in Mill Hill.
Hendon are rattling along nicely in the Southern League Premier South, and are currently fourth in the division, with five wins from eight games. They have scored in all 12 of their competitive matches this season.
Chippenham Town are higher up the football pyramid, and are tenth in National League North. They have scored 16 goals and conceded 16, and their games tend to be somewhat lively. They haven't drawn a single league match, and in three of their last five matches at their Hardenhuish Park, both teams have found the net.
With Hendon scoring freely, and Chippenham not entirely secure at the back, this could be an intriguing cup tie. I'll back both teams to score at [1.77].
