We're popping in to see relegated Chester, and Kev thinks they'll suffer another defeat.
"Chester haven't even scored in their last five home games, and they have lost eight of their last nine games overall."
Chester v Bromley
Tuesday April 10, 19:45
A turn-up for the books in Germany last night, as Bayer Leverkusen produced their best performance of the season to win 4-1 at RB Leipzig. The hosts were stunned, and so were we.
We're off to England's National League for our Tuesday evening entertainment, as relegated Chester take on mid-table Bromley, who haven't totally given up on a place in the playoffs.
Chester have been on a disastrous run, taking just one point from the last nine games. They haven't scored in any of their last five home matches, and they haven't won a match since mid-February. Manager Marcus Bignot has been told his contract won't be renewed.
Bromley won their last away game 3-0 at Sutton United, and have games in hand on most of their playoff rivals. They'll need to be almost perfect from here on in, but they'll be encouraged by the fact they have won three of their last seven on the road. It's been a great season, with Bromley pushing for promotion and booking a trip to Wembley in the FA Trophy final.
Chester are so awful that it's hard to see them being able to snap out of their tailspin, and although Bromley's form is a bit patchy, they certainly have the quality and the motivation to pick up the win.
