Bet 1: Groningen (HOME) @ 1.53 (8/15)
The hosts have climbed to ninth in the Eredivisie following a run of five without defeat and just one loss in nine. They come into this game having drawn their two latest outings but they came against the fifth placed, Vitesse, and away at Heerenveen who are fourth.
Today they face a team who are down in 14th and who have gone seven without a victory. In fact, since beating Heracles at home back on September 10th, Excelsior have played 15, won one, drawn five and lost nine.
Groningen started the season quite badly on this ground as they were winless from five attempts, but they then won three on the bounce and remained unbeaten by drawing their last two.
Bet 2: Napoli (AWAY) @ 1.5 (1/2)
It's been a relatively decent campaign for Napoli considering the fact that they lost Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus. They're third in Serie A and while they trail Juve by six points, they're only two behind Roma in second.
The goals have been spread around the team more this season but it's Dries Mertens who leads the way with 13. They haven't lost a game of any description since a 2-1 defeat in Turin in October and they've won six of their last eight in the league.
Away from Naples it's three victories from four - the only dropped points being a 3-3 draw at Fiorentina - and their latest away win was over AC Milan.
Bologna are 12th in the table and they too are in decent form as they have won three of their last four. Two of those successes were against clubs in the bottom three though and the other was against an out of sorts, Torino.
Bet 3: Valencia v Eibar (Over 2.5 goals) @ 1.8 (4/5)
Over in Spain, Valencia, are having a miserable campaign but if you've been backing goals in their matches, you're far from sad.
There have been three goals or more in 14 of their 19 La Liga fixtures and their games are averaging 3.42 goals each time. Half a dozen of their last eight at home have seen overs backers collect and not only have they been scoring plenty themselves, they've also been conceding plenty.
Eibar's matches have a lower average at the 2.85 mark but 11 of their 20 have still ended with the ball in the net at least three times. Their latest away trip saw them win a five goal thriller at Sporting Gijon and six of their nine away from Ipurua have gone over 2.5.
Bet 4: Guingamp v Caen (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.85 (17/20)
A low-scoring affair should be on the cards in France as Guingamp have played 22 Ligue One games this term and 13 of them have ended with two goals or fewer.
Interestingly, eight of those 13 came in front of their own fans and while I expect many to believe that they could run up a score against Caen this evening, they have only scored more than once at home this year on three occasions - and all three of those saw them net twice.
Caen have a wretched away record this season as they've taken just two points from a possible 33. On the plus side, they only conceded more than twice on two occasions and that has led to seven of their 11 go under 2.5.
