Bet 1: Derby (HOME) @ 1.91 (10/11)
The Rams return to league action following their FA Cup exit at the King Power in the week. They had to play 120 minutes on Wednesday which is a slight concern, but they made enough changes to have a relatively fresh line-up this afternoon.
Visiting Pride Park today is a Bristol City side who have recently ended a miserable run by drawing with Sheffield Wednesday and then beating Rotherham. Both of those matches were at Ashton Gate however and away from home it's six straight defeats and eight from their last nine.
Since Steve McClaren returned to Derby they have taken 23 points from a possible 27 in front of their own fans and they kept eight clean sheets during the process.
Bet 2: Newcastle (AWAY) @ 2.2 (6/5)
We stay in the Championship for our away win this week as Newcastle seem like fair enough value to pick up all three points at Molineux.
Wolves have been very hit or miss this season and it was the latter last week as they went down 2-1 at Burton. They are 18th in the table and while they shouldn't be sucked into a relegation battle, they definitely won't be making the play-offs.
The Magpies are back on top of the division and they have a six point advantage over Reading in third - with a game in hand. They've won three of their last four in the league - the other being a draw - and their record away from St James' is fantastic.
Rafa Benitez's men have won 10 of their 14 away matches this term and that includes victories at Derby and Leeds.
Bet 3: Peterborough v Sheffield United (Over 2.5 goals) @ 1.66 (4/6)
It's all about goals at the London Road Stadium today as the stats are pointing towards a high-scoring affair between Peterborough and Sheffield United.
The Posh are seeing their matches average 2.76 goals each time this year, and while only a dozen of their 29 have gone over 2.5, three of those came from their five latest outings.
The Blades have even better stats as their average is up at the 3.03 mark and 19 of their 30 have ended with the ball in the net on three occasions or more.
Their last eight away scorelines were 0-3, 3-3, 1-4, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-4 and 4-1. It's also worth noting that four of the last five meetings between the pair have had at least three goals.
Bet 4: Oldham v Coventry (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.6 (6/10)
When it comes to goals, the same can't be said for our other League One selection this week as it's highly doubtful that the net will be bulging too often when Oldham take on Coventry.
The hosts have the lowest scoring matches in the division as theirs are averaging a mere 1.6 goals each time. A whopping 25 of their 30 fixtures this year have ended with two goals or fewer and there is no reason why that trend shouldn't change today.
The visitors are rock bottom of the table and destined for relegation. They too are having low-scoring games this season as their matches are average 2.31 goals per 90 minutes. Over half of their 29 fixtures have gone under 2.5 and they have only scored more than once on the road on one occasion this year.
