Atalanta v SPAL

After he absolutely whooped 2019, Tobias lost the first round against 2020, as Penafiel's 1-1 draw at Vilafranquense in Portugal yesterday left him a goal short. It's a long year.
We'll start our week in Serie A, as Atalanta prepare to face rock-bottom SPAL. It's been a tough spell for Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta, but I still think they'll put on a show against a team that looks short of the required quality at this level.
Atalanta held Inter to a draw in Milan last weekend, and recently smashed Inter's crosstown rivals Milan 5-0. However, they also lost at Bologna, and were beaten 3-1 at home by Juventus. A top-four finish is still well within reach, with Roma only three points ahead in the race for Champions League qualification.
Atalanta can always be relied upon to score, and their tally of 49 goals from 19 games is yet again the highest in the division. It won't surprise you to learn that 13 of their 19 matches in the top flight have featured at least four goals, including a 3-2 win at SPAL at the start of the season.
SPAL have only won three times in the league, and on the road they have lost nine of their last 11 games at this level. They haven't kept a clean sheet in the league since mid-November.
SPAL couldn't contain Atalanta in the reverse fixture, and I don't think they'll manage to here either. Atalanta's last three home games in the league have seen them win 3-2, 5-0 and 5-0, so I'll back Over 3.5 Goals here at 2.111/10.
