It's very rare for Against All Odds to feature a Premier League match, so with Paul Robinson choosing one today, it must be one he really fancies...
"Claude Puel’s side beat Crystal Palace 3-1 that day, but since then it’s been 0-0 draws against Hull and United, a 3-0 loss to Man City and a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal."
Southampton v Stoke
Sunday May 21, 15:00 BST
The Saints once again failed to score at home in their 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Wednesday and season ticket holders have to go all the way back to the beginning of April for the last goal they cheered at St Mary's.
Claude Puel's side beat Crystal Palace 3-1 that day, but since then it's been 0-0 draws against Hull and United, a 3-0 loss to Man City and a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal. Even prior to the Palace victory the match before saw them draw 0-0 again - this time with Bournemouth.
Now is the time that I wish I had plenty of positives to write about Stoke's recent form but there isn't much to draw on. They were pretty poor in the 4-1 loss at home to Arsenal last weekend, but at least they went into that game having avoided defeat in three of their previous four.
It's pretty obvious that Mark Hughes' players have been on the beach for a while now but they wouldn't need to do much to pick up at least a point against a Southampton team who have won just two of their last 10 in front of their own fans.
I really wouldn't want to be investing heavily in Southampton at the moment, so with their price trading at around the [1.82] mark, I have to make them my lay of the day.
